    BTTF Upper Circle with kids
Went to see Back To The Future with my husband and two young kids. We sat in upper circle seats D22 - D25. The gradient is so steep so we had a good view. The kids couldn't see (6&9) once poeple sat in front of them so we got them a free booster seat each and they were fine (my 6 Yr old needed 2 as she's really small). The seats feel really close together too and the leg room is tight. We didn't mind but someone who doesn't like feeling squashed in might not like this seating area. We would sit here again.

    Nice, old theatre
This is a lovely, old theatre. The staff were helpful and friendly. It’s clean. Yes, there were queues during intermission for the loo. That’s happened at every theatre I’ve been to. We had a great time. Because it’s an older theatre, you might not be able to see if a gigantic cranium sits in front of you, so be advised especially if you are bringing your kids along -Book at least one aisle seat in case. Also, if you have back or leg issues, the seats (although nicely padded) will not be comfortable for you. There is wheelchair access and designated spaces for wheelchairs. If you have concerns, call ahead before you book.

    Old, bijou theatre ...
An old Theatre with a steep Circle. We were right at the back so got the benefit of the AC, but as we were on the seats at the end of the row we were perched precariously on the downward stairs, which was uncomfortable. The show itself stuck to the film script and was enthusiastically delivered by the cast. Production was excellent and worth the ticket price.

Tightly packed theatre that provides good shows.
I went to see the Back to the Future Musical at this theatre which was a magical show with great entertainment. The theatre itself has great transport connections with train and bus. There can be queues outside and depending on the weather this can be more frustrating. There is the customary bag check to enter. The staff are welcoming and helpful in navigating the theatre. There is a bar and refreshments available. Seating on the ground or top levels provides good views. The seating can be quite uncomfortable as spacing is below minimum. Tall people should look for the more expensive ground level. The toilet facilities are fine and the theatre is clean. A packed show can make it become warm. However, watching a good show puts all the minor points aside. It is an intimate, tightly packed theatre.

    Excellent experience
We went to the Adelphi Theatre for the first time for a few years and the first time with a wheelchair. The show, The Barricade Boys, was just amazing. We had a great view from Row J and the Access Host was great, just sorry we didn't get her name. We wouldn't hesitate to come here again.

    Tremendous Show & Staff
We visited on 23/10/23 and the staff were awesome. It had started to rain before the Back to the Future show, so the staff outside brought us to the front because my partners in a wheelchair. Then we were assigned an awesome lady usher who helped us to the toilet and then our seats, through the crowds. My partners mobility is deteriorating, this usher was brilliant while we were getting seated. Maybe sounds a small thing, but while i was transferring Nadine from her chair to the theatre seat, the usher ensured the crowds stopped trying to get past us, and gave us space and time to get seated. Which we need. I'm extremely grateful, i wish i'd asked her name. She came back to help at the interval, and at the end too. She waited patiently while we were in the bathroom both times and this personal assistance was very much appreciated. Thank you. Also, what a brilliant show!! Go and see BTTF if you get the chance. An amazing experience for my first show. I'd love to come and see it again. Thank you Adelphi

    Fantastic show and lovely staff
Visited to see a show here. All staff very welcoming and friendly. Whilst we were waiting to take our seats we spoke to a lovely young lady I think her name was Indira. She is a credit to the venue. Was visiting for a specific show and was not disappointed at all. Security checks can delay you taking your seats slightly but all done before the show starts.

    Superb help from theatre staff
We went to see 'Back to the Future, the Musical' at the Adelphi Theatre. The show is great entertainment but what added to our enjoyment was the great service from theatre staff. My husband uses a wheeled walker. We initially booked seats in the circle and needed to swap them for accessible seats in the stalls. What a pity I didn't book direct with the theatre as I would have qualified for a discount as my husband's carer and I am still struggling to get my promised refund from Ticketmaster. A lesson I won't forget. When we arrived at the Adelphi, the woman on duty at the velvet rope showed us straight through to the box office and after we'd got our tickets, accompanied us to our seats and took the walker away to store it until after the show. After taking part in the enthusiastic applause, we went out onto the pavement to flag down a taxi. For some reason they were all full, yellow lights switched off. That's when another of the Adelphi's staff stepped forward. Jane crossed the road to flag down a cab. It must have taken about half-an-hour before she got one to do a U-turn and pick us up. That was really going the extra mile. Thank you Jane, and your colleagues for your kindness.

Brilliant theatre, set design and show
We visited here to see Back To The Future at the weekend and were both very impressed with the show and the theatre itself. We were seated 3 rows away from the back of the theatre so at the very top but the way the theatre is built meant that even at that height we barely missed anything on stage. I was very impressed with the BTTF decoration in the lobby area which provided a fitting environment for what we were about to see. The most impressive thing however, was definitely the set, how it moved and all the actions that had taken place…. This probably made the show for us. 10/10!

Wow! We was totally blown away from how incredible Back to the Future The Musical was!
Each scene it just got better and better, more exciting, and more special effects!
We was sat in Row D, Seats 10 and 11. The seats had so much leg room and they were super comfy to sit on! Much more enjoyable to sit in than other theatres we have been to.
The merch stall had lots of lovely items. Zip up hoodies were £50, programmes were £12, BTTF Socks were £12, as well as lots of other cools bits.
There were a couple of bars to choose from. They had 3 slushy machines and they did them in special Back to the Future Plastic Cups with Straws. They are £9. Ciders and Beers were around £7. All really nice!!
The show was full of extremely talented actors and actresses. The soundtrack was really good and was very closely done to the movie which was amazing!
We loved every second and if you haven't seen it, you're missing out!! Definitely recommend and it's up there as one of our favourite shows!
Please give my review a thumbs up if you found if helpful! Thank you.

Back to the Future musical - a show totally ruined by racist remarks against white people - I dont remember those in the film!

This is a beautiful theatre. Not too big - the sound is great. They have a fun selection of snacks, and the bar is a good one.

We had brilliant seats for a brilliant show! We saw back to the future the musical. The cast were brilliant the chemistry between doc and marty was excellent, they were a very funny double act!

We had seats at the back of the dress circle stage left, 2 seats on their own with a brilliant view and plenty of room. We loved not having to keep getting up and down to let people in and out.

Really was a great day out for my husbands birthday, definitely go and see it if you are thinking about it.

The theatre staff were all really friendly and very helpful too.

Second time seeing back to the future and I already want to see it again!! The special effects are unbelievable. The way they recreate iconic moments of the movie is brilliant. If it is your first time and budget allows I would recommend buying seats as close to front and centre as possible to be really immersed in the effects. Fantastic actors and a great show. As a big fan of the movies I love all the Easter eggs they managed to include. The theatre itself is also lovely. Plenty of legroom compared to some and nice temperature.

First time at the Adelphi Theatre, London - one of several London theatres bought by Andrew Lloyd Webber's LW group and renovated a while ago - to see "Back to the Future: The Musical", a show we've been wanting to see as a family for some time. Having been to the Apollo Victoria for "Wicked" last year we may have been spoilt because this is, I believe, an older theatre and feels like it, despite LW's involvement. As such, the seats are a bit cramped and your view of the stage can vary wildly depending on where you sit. I'm 5 ft 10 but could have benefited from a child's booster seat as a large giantess was sat in front of me. We were near the back of the stall so we also had the overhang from the dress circle above. To be honest, before the show started I felt like I could have asked for about a 70% discount on the (let's admit it) pretty expensive ticket price because that's how much of my view was obscured. However, once the show started, as long as she kept her head still, my enjoyment wasn't affected too much.

The show, by the way, is spectacular - not so much for the songs which, apart from the ones you know from the film (the Huey Lewis "theme songs" "Back in Time" and "The Power of Love", plus "Earth Angel" and "Johnny B Goode"), are fairly forgettable numbers lacking a showstopper like "Defying Gravity") albeit delivered with enthusiasm by the energetic cast, but for the clever and impressive staging which manages to recreate some of the memorable sequences from the film (you'll believe a DeLorean can...well, wait and see...)

Special effects aside, the show sneaks up on you. What could have felt like a soulless fan-pandering replay of the movie still manages to capture the emotional beats and, towards the end of the second act, every crowd-pleasing moment received a genuine round of applause. Hats off to the cast who give it their all to make the show work.

Hats off also to the theatre staff who dealt with the large queues of theatregoers efficiently, and made it easy to purchase programmes, drinks and refreshments without long waiting times. We really enjoyed the welcome, the show, and, all in all, this was another wonderful London theatre experience.

The musical itself was great, but the theatre has seen better days. I will not say that its worn down.
But its clear that it has not been renovated in a long time.

It has a cool atmosphere, but could do with some upgrading.

Good theatre, could although do with better air conditioning but views from the upper circle were good, even if they were the cheap seats.

The show was very good, some real stand out performances from the cast, the special effects, excellent
