Three guys with no artistic background. We were at the national gallery and it was absolutely wonderful. Fascinating tour, very personal. Showed us things that alone we would never have noticed and gave the artist's point of view. Very recommended!

Last week I went on one of Calanit’s gallery tours; not my usual Friday morning, but it ended up being a joy to be away from the usual to do list. Calanit took us to a carefully selected mix of galleries in Mayfair and a photographic exhibition in a renowned auction house. It was wonderful to experience work from a range of artists (established and more up and coming talents) and very different styles. It really was food for the soul! Calanit is a proficient tour guide with a warm personality, who is knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter and the London art scene. By going on one of her tours, you will gain special access to galleries that are not normally open to the general public and indeed galleries that most people would be unaware of. I also enjoyed having a short but refreshing walk between each location in a beautiful part of London and having time to discuss views with the other group members. The time flew by and I came away feeling stimulated and revitalised. I don’t plan to add this activity to my long list of ‘things to do’ that never get done, but given that the content of the galleries changes regularly, I will remember that when I am in need of an uplift, taking time out to do one Calanit’s tours is rewarding on many levels and is a great option.

Thank you for the great tour at Yayoi Kusama Exhibition. It was magnificent and unusual. It's not the first tour I have done with Calanit and I definitely will join some more.

One of the best experiences we had in London this summer was a private tour-guide with Calanit at the Contemporary art galleries in central London. Calanit is charming, pleasent, and attentive to her audience. Like a true professional she displays vast knowledge and deep up-to-date understanding of the contemporary art scene, trends, profound artists, etc. In the two and a half hours we spent together, she managed to expose us to a wide variety of galleries that would fit our predefined interests (design, photography, painting, sculpture). Calanit, a photographer in her profession, knows and understands art inside out, had enlightened us with stories big and small, politics in art, finances and influence, and let us discover some of the prominent names young and old, in London's contemporary art scene. Bravo!!!
