What a fabulous day we had with Douglas. He showed us all the sights advertised and then some. We had a great lunch at the Plough Inn and still had time to visit the Roman Villa, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway Tower, Burford and the back roads of the Cotswold. Best time ever.…

I love this place, it reminds me and looks back into pastimes of years gone by, but still caters for the young and the old. Quaint little shops with pleasant, polite shop keepers. My idea of how I wish all our high streets should be. Beautiful scenery that makes you so blissfully happy to be there.…

First, let me begin by saying that this review is SUPER LONG OVERDUE! My deepest apologies Nikhil! Second, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROTHER from across the pond (we share the same birthday)!!! I hope this message finds you and yours well during this strange time. Dec 2018 my family made plans to take my mother, who’s never been abroad, to London. My sis (whose birthday is 4.17) booked this tour for the 5 of us. We were Nikhil’s 2nd tour, but we would have never known had he not told us. Nikhil’s love for country, joy, and overall exuberance is infectious. He never lost momentum, energy, and we never wanted for information. Every question from London, to Windsor Castle, to Stonehenge, to Bath, Nikhil could answer it all!! We lucked out! Anyone blessed enough to have Nikhil as their guide/historian is fortunate and any company smart enough to employ him must know how much of an asset he is professional, and how beautiful an individual he is personally. As mommy told you Nikhil, your mum raised you right! Thank you for the joy of your presence and for making our trip to London memorable!! Hope you’re birthday’s been a blast!! I had ice cream cake for breakfast!!…

Kingdom Private Tours organized a perfect full-day trip and our guide Lee executed fantastically. Lee picked us up at our hotel at 8:30, and took us by private mini van to our first destination, Windsor Castle. He told us how to best navigate the grounds to avoid crowds and to watch the changing of the guard: we spent our two hours enjoying and no time waiting. He gave us a choice of when and how much time we wanted to spend on lunch. As we wanted to take in as much as possible, we opted for a quick lunch on the road, and headed to Stonehenge, stopping in Woodhenge to learn the history preceding Stonehenge. At Stonehenge, Lee took us to the site by shortcut, avoiding lines and tour buses: another win. Finally, Lee drove us to Bath, dropping us directly in the Roman Baths, while he parked. Following our tour of the Roman Baths, Lee met us outside and walked with us to the cathedral and around the city, explaining the history and architecture: again, without wasting a minute. We then walked over to the car and took the 2.5 hour ride back to our hotel in London. This was a long day, where each minute was maximized, and we were able to appreciate and learn about each of the places we came to visit. I strongly recommend this trip, and consider yourself lucky if you ride with Lee.…
