London Air Connections was one of the best experiences I have ever had in Customer Service.
We had a flight into Heathrow and needed a transfer to Gatwick. We had about a 3 hour window to make it work. Keith our driver was the best and truly made the bad experience with British Airways so much better. The flight was late and it took over an hour to get our bags. Keith was ready for us and did an amazing job to get us across the city to Gatwick in the middle of traffic and delays. Despite Keith's efforts British Airways would not allow us on the flight with 45 minutes to go. So they had to book us on a later flight back to New York, but this time back at Heathrow. I called Keith and he turned around with two coffees in had and pulled off a miracle getting us back to Heathrow. We ended up making that fight-just barely. British Airways sure could use a lesson in customer service from Keith and London Air Connections.
So if you are looking for a car transfer company in London, You will be in great hands with them.

Thank you so much for leaving such a lovely review about your experience with us at LondonAirConnections.com, but are sorry it didn't run as smoothly as is normal. (albeit not our fault)
We always try to help our clients when things go wrong and when we saw your flight was delayed we made sure your driver was ready, waiting for you inside Heathrow for a speedy departure to Gatwick. As you say, unfortunately your baggage was then also delayed... even so, your LondonAirConnections driver still managed to get you to Gatwick 45-50 minutes before your departure from there. (We share your disappointment that BA would not allow you to drop your bags considering you had already checked through).
As you found, our drivers will often ask clients who are close to the close of check-in to call them once you have made their flight, so they can help you if there is a problem, as happened here - we will simply not just leave our clients stranded if we can help them!
We were also disappointed that BA then advised you to take a bus back to Heathrow for different later flight! (why they didn't arrange this other flight for you when their first flight into London was delayed is another question) but were relived that you had the clarity to ask us to help you once again, as they gave this strange advice to get a bus (which would have probably meant missing this flight too!).
Your driver was very pleased to have been able to ensure you made your second attempt of a flight out of London.
Not the smoothest of transfers that we've ever had to be fair, and one that we'll remember for a while... but so pleased that we managed to assist you and make sure you weren't left in the quagmire in a foreign (to you) country.
We hope we able to alleviate most of the stress of your delays, and look forward to seeing you next time... perhaps where BA gives you a little more time between flights.

[NOTES: This client's flight was quite delayed into Heathrow, then their baggage was delayed even further. They had the bare minimum of 3 hours between their two flights. Almost 1.5 hours were lost before they were able to get out into the passenger terminal at Heathrow, to our driver who was waiting patiently, yet he still managed to get them to Gatwick about 45-50 minutes before their next flight. Sometimes, if you are checked through, this is enough for some European flights. However on this occasion it was not. Our client was then put on an evening flight (on a Friday rush-hour) which they probably would not have made in time by bus or coach. Fortunately our clients had the integrity to call their driver back and ask us to help and we were happy to oblige... this is why clients trust us. We try to go above and beyond with our service, because we really do care!]

I am really glad to have found this company and can't speak highly of it enough. My booking over the phone was courteous with crystal clear communication. I was told the reasonable price right away, the drop-off charge at Luton Airport was already included. Upon punctual arrival for pick-up, the super friendly driver helped me with my luggage. The car looked great and was extremely spacious. Throughout my journey from North London to Luton Airport I felt treated like royalty. LondonAirConnections will be my future choice for travel to London airports. I have used different companies before, but have never been as pleased as with this one. We're are so pleased you appreciated our all-inclusive fare structure and found our communication "crystal clear"... this is what we are always aiming for! You mentioned that your driver helped with your luggage, and that you felt you were treated "like royalty"? This is actually why we hand pick our drivers, to be helpful, punctual and be the friendly face to our family run company. I'm glad you enjoyed your "upgrade" vehicle too - yes our minivans are top end and very comfortable, but I'm sure you would have been just as pleased with one of our executive saloons too - which are also high end classwise!

Keith is always professional, courteous and has a good knowledge of London and the surrounding areas. His friendly nature is contagious and very welcoming when visiting London. His vehicle is always spotless and very comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend his services.

Excellent service - easy to book and pay online in advance. This was our first time using their services and we booked a transfer from London Gatwick to London Heathrow. The driver texted to let us know he was in the arrivals hall. He was smartly dressed and friendly and helpful. The vehicle was a large people carrier with more space than we needed for 3 people and luggage. Very clean and modern. Good value with all costs included in the overall price (meet and greet, car parking, waiting time). Will definitely use again.

As you say, once you add the additional possible hidden costs of our competitors together, using our services can really be good value, and I'm glad you were happy with your upgrade. We only use professional drivers and, as you noted, our vehicles are all modern & executive standard.

We've used the service many times over the past 5 years between Gatwick and Heathrow as well as the City. The office team communications are always clear and timely. The drivers are always where they indicated at the time they wrote (within 30 minutes of arrival time). Usually they are already waiting for us when we exit airport secure zone.

Excellent service. Courteous staff to help me with the booking process by phone, since we are tourists and don’t know how long the drive takes, etc. Driver on-time (early!), friendly, helpful (thanks Keife!!). Reasonably priced. Very comfortable vehicle for my whole family with plenty of room for our large luggage. Would definitely recommend and would use again

Used London Air Connections to transfer from Heathrow to Gatwick in early May. After an overnight flight it was appreciated to walk out and have the transfer waiting where they said it would be. Traveling for 2 weeks of hiking means heavy bags and the driver provided assistance to the car. Car itself was clean and comfortable. Trip to Gatwick was uneventful.
Would recommend this service for transfers in London.

What can I add to your review? Like you mention, our drivers wait in a designated meeting point and are there waiting from 30 minutes after your actual landing, which we always monitor. Our drivers do actually help with luggage (but we do ask clients to remember they are not pack-mules!) and yes our executive cars are always clean, and are not used on local taxi circuits... no drinkers or late-night clubbers to mess them up like some vehicles we see from minicab companies pretending to be "airport specialists"...
We also like your comment, "Trip to Gatwick was uneventful".
This is how we like to roll, although it does mean we don't get mentioned in bad or mediocre reviews very often! (A price we are prepared to pay for offering 'uneventful' rides!)
So thank you for recommending us, really appreciated by all of us!

We were 7 people from Iceland travelling from Gatwick to Heathrow after a flight from Tenerife. We had been stranded in Tenerife because of the WOW air bankruptcy. We only had about 3 hours until our flight to Iceland from Heathrow. Keith our driver met us at Gatwick and told us he would get us to Heathrow in about an hour and we would have enough time to have dinner before our flight. The van was clean and very comfortable with extra pillows for comfort. And Keith was right - we hit Heathrow in about an hour despite traffic congestions and we had dinner and did some shopping before our flight to Iceland, thanks to Keith and LAC. Superior service :) The seven of us only paid 149 pounds for the transfer. Cheaper than a taxi. We will definitely use their service again. Thank you Keith and LAC.

We were really pleased to help so many travelers when WOW went into liquidation and left so many people stranded, and having to take flights to different London airport. It's sad to see the chaos created by a situation like this, and of course we will do everything we can to help with rearranged flight schedules.
Keith, (with Karam, Steve and the driving team) works really hard together to make our service as smooth as possible, especially when there are tight connections and we are needed at the last minute. I have passed on your comments on to him, together with our thanks added too of course!
You mention our current fare for a 7 passenger seat executive minivan between the airport, and I'm glad you noted that it is far cheaper than a Taxi. Our vehicles, with multiple occupancy, are often cheaper than the bus too!!!
With LondonAirConnections.com you'll always benefit from our all-inclusive fares, and our drivers being where they should be at the time agreed on your booking, and ensuring a smooth ride between London airports! We can not however guarantee that you will have time for dinner & shopping at your destination airport on every occasion you use us... 😉 That comes down to you & your schedule, combined with whether the M25 is behaving itself or not. If clients are unsure of their timings, we are always happy to confirm whether they have enough time between flights, like you they can just ask us.

I travel to Europe several times a year from America. Have to get from Heathrow to Gatwick promptly to make connection. It is a pain. But Keith and his team from London Air Connections has made it easy. Prompt and courteous, clean cars, no problems. I only have used their service for several years, and have been very pleased. It makes a tiring journey very easy, and that is much appreciated.

When we finish our European Tour we fly out of Gatwick and our daughter flies 2 hours earlier out of Heathrow. Do you have any recommendations on where we should stay and how we should getting her to her airport and the rest of us to Gatwick

Thanks for your questions.
The time between Heathrow and Gatwick is about an hour, so it would be possible to drop your daughter at Heathrow (3 hours before her flight) and then continue on to Gatwick in time for your flight from there.
Our main service is from Heathrow (airport or hotel) to Gatwick (airport or hotel), but others services are available, for instance from Central London.
You didn't say where or when you are coming into, so perhaps you could send us an email (see our website, as we can't post this on TA) for more privacy and we can make more definitive suggestions and get a quote for you.
