Wonderful walks

We visit this park regularly to have a walk on the numerous routes.Simply lovely. What isn't nice is the amount of fly tipping by dirty builders etc.

Open to all with lots of Car Parking, Great play area on two levels but the lower forest play area gets muddy. The cafe looks promising but it was not open at the time of visit and neither was the WC. May need to look into the opening times if taking young children who may need to go!!

This place takes some beating when there is snow on the ground, but nice anytime of year, the way the colours change as the months pass is fantastic. If you have a four legged member of your family you will find it a great place, plus for the fit people , or those who would like to be fit, there... More

We visited here with a 4 year old and 2 year old, we had a picnic and it was lovely and relaxing, there's plenty of space for them to run around. The adventure playground however is more for older children. The visitor centre is a nice feature, they have toilets which were clean and a little shop, for drinks and... More

This place is excellent for taking the dog for a walk, the grassed areas are great for ball throwing, and the windey woodland walkways are tranquil and not to steep. It's the perfect place to excersice the family pet and let your worries fade away.
