We were a group of 4 and had asked Zena to arrange a bespoke tour. She was very thorough when asking for our likes and dislikes and having given her the tools, she prepared a fantastic tour that ticked pretty much everything we’d asked her to include. All of the stops were at independents, many using local ingredients in their products or supporting local producers. The proprietors were friendly and enthusiastic about the food or drink they offered, the quality was wonderful and I can honestly say we were all stuffed full at the finish of our tour. And we can all eat! Not only did Zena plan the tour brilliantly, she was good company, a good tour guide telling us interesting facts about Norwich as we walked and clearly is very knowledgeable about food and the restaurant scene in Norwich. An excellent time was had by all. Thank you Zena!

Absolutely brilliant food and drink walking tour expertly put together by the very knowledgable Zena. We sampled a very wide range of great tasting food from all sorts of different cuisines, from snacks to sit downs, both sweet and savoury.
A lot of the food and drink was sourced from Norfolk and we also sampled locally produced beers, gins and rum, not to mention chocolate!
Not only did we eat great tasting food and drink, the walk between the numerous different stops gave us an interesting and informative insight into this lovely city.
I would thoroughly recommend taking this tour next time you are in Norwich.

I was invited by a friend to take part on Love Norwich Food self guided tour and I absolutely loved it. Our group started at the beautiful arcade at Yalm Restaurant with a sharing platter followed by a glass of Gin, cheese, chutney and crackers at St Giles Pantry both places are beautiful and food was very good. We then went for a stroll and had light lunch on Christophes’ Crepe, what an amazing surprise! The place was lovely and the food was fresh and simply delicious. We finish off with a matcha tea experience at the Bird & Blend tea shop and it was fabulous. I highly recommend this food tour, you can choose where you want to go and walking though our fine city is an amazing and relaxing experience. We stopped to take many pictures and with the city decorated for Christmas I think it was the perfect time for us. Zena has put together a very nice experience and it is very good value for money too. I can’t wait to do this again. It is perfect for couples, friends and when you have visitors so they can get to know our city, enjoy good food and have much fun😊

When it comes to places to eat in Norfolk. Zena of Love Norwich is the go to local FOOD GURU out of them all. A true champion for supporting local businesses no matter how small or big your food business is. She literally been here there and everywhere to try these local food establishments as you can tell from her regular posts on her socials! Can’t keep up!.So when it comes to local norwich or norfolk food tour experiences , I highly recommend her platform to use as she knows what she is talking about 💯. We enjoyed our food trip for the day “ Feast of Norwich”pay as you go, first weekend running. Hope there will be more local food establishments that will be able to join the list in the future and Kudos to Zena for her non stop support to local food business establishments out there.

I took a group of 16 GCSE foo Students on this Walking Food Tour with Zena
She was impeccable, so organised from the beginning of booking, checking our preferences, and then catering something for everyone on the tour, sharing great knowledge about Norwich and being on the students level. Everyone enjoyed the day and we have decided if Zena would have us to make it a yearly thing in our school calendar.

We spent a very enjoyable three hours walking and eating our way around Norwich city centre. Zena’s knowledge of the Norwich food scene is incredible and as well as sampling lots of delicious food on the day we have a long list of market stalls, cafes and restaurants that we plan to visit in the future. I bought the tour as a birthday present for my husband, and would highly recommend it as a gift for anyone that loves food.

The self guided food tour was a lot of fun! I took my partner who is disabled, we borrowed a mobility scooter from shop mobility and were able to do roughly half the tour, if you're able bodied and have a good appetite it's easily doable in one day.
The map provided was concise clear and the instructions were straightforward. The vendors were lovely and after a few seconds of confusion at one vendor (we did this very early) it was very smooth.
It would be ideal for foodies visiting Norwich or people new to the food scene as it gives independent vendors a spotlight while providing good value to the customers.

Me and mum went on Love Norwich Food’s pay as you go food tour on Saturday and it was fab :) you get lots of information about good places to eat in Norwich which allows you to explore to your hearts content! We went to Boston Tea House where we had their seasonal starter which was heaven, then headed to the courtyard cafe and had a mini afternoon which was so nice and everyone was super lovely, and then we finally headed to Mymakan for a Malaysian taster platter. We planned to go to gig bar to finish but we were stuffed :) great day out and something different to do in Norwich. I recommend :)

The pay as you go food tour today was excellent. Brunch at Yalm followed by Matcha tasting at Bird and Blend. Then lunchtime G&T with cheese platter in St Giles Pantry. After a stroll around the older parts of Norwich we finished off with Afternoon Tea taster in The Tea House in the beautiful Elm Hill area. Delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes with tasty tea selections. Highly recommend this Tour in fact there are other places to visit on the list so we might do it again. Thanks Love Norwich Food.

Had a fun night in Norwich, doing a food and cocktail tour as part of Norwich Cocktail Week. Despite living here for years, went to several places we had never heard of before. Good cocktails. Zena was a good host.
