Always a great atmosphere at Highball. I've been bouldering here quite a few times with my partner and various friends and it doesn't seem to matter what skill level you are, everyone is friendly, helpful and courteous. Sometimes there's a bit of a queue to get in, so if you're in a hurry perhaps allow for this. Also leave your snacks at home - the cakes, brownies, cookies and vegan burritos they sell are all exactly what you'll want when you're finished!

I'm a youth worker at a local charity working with young people. I have taken a couple of groups of young people (high school age) to Highball and cannot praise the staff enough (Marc delivers an excellent balance of fun and games with assurance and safety). The array of different climbing experiences gives young people the perfect opportunity to build confidence and improve self-esteem, this is simply an outstanding place, and one I'll be back to.

Took kids climbing today for the first time. Staff very friendly and gave clear instructions to the kids on how to climb safely. Lots of safety explained which made us feel at ease. Only reason why not 5 stars is the whole place seems very dusty as they seemed to have lots of wood been sawn in the waiting area and made it a little uneasy when breathing as you went in.

My child's 10th party for 6 girls was great fun this week. The instructor was fun, girls loved the activities and to keep costs down we took their own packed lunches and ate them in the cafe area with birthday cake. Parents had lovely coffees and snacks from the cafe and enjoyed being able to watch the girls climb. Thanks to all the helpful friendly staff.
