Interesting library, especially newly manufactured carpet. Usual food in cafe, i.e. same menu as other nearby properties.

Unfortunately the hall was closed on the day we visited. It was supposed to be open but wasn't and didn't really explain why which was a shame! However, we had details of a circular walk around the grounds which we did instead and it was amazing! The church near the hall is a must see place and has some of... More

Like most National Trust sites, the Felbrigg Hall definitely will not disappoint. Autumn and spring are the two best seasons to visit their enormous walled garden. What a spectacular display of mature fruit trees and ready to harvest delectable vegetables from their kitchen garden plots. The walk around the hall is so refreshing and thus relaxing for the body and... More

It is always a great visit when you go to Felbrigg: not overwhelming with scale or grandiosity, you can imagine living there. Some fabulous rooms and decor, handpainted wall coverings, amazing plasterwork, and a wonderful dinner setting on our last visit. The walled garden is a treat in summer. Highly recommended.

A lovely National Trust managed country retreat you can easily spend a whole day here with not just visiting the house but also the impressive walled gardens, a good restaurant (squire's pantry), the National Trust shop and even a second-hand bookshop! On paying your entry fee you're provided with an excellent guide about the rooms you're about to visit. Felbrigg... More

This is your typical National Trust place, big grand building, walled garden, extensive grounds, farms attached, lots of woodland. As with all NT places it's the volunteers and staff that stand out. What ever your thoughts on the NT this place is one to go to. Tea rooms/Café (naturally), shop (of course). Also has an interesting second hand book place;... More

expensive to get in but you certainly get a real feel for the past the furniture and paintings show well how the rich landowners pampered themselves , guess we all would like to think it would be us if we were alive in those days. More likely most of us would be the servants and if you look its pretty... More
