We had not been here for 13 years. I only remembered some of it, The hall is very interesting. Make sure to look up at the ceilings. What has been refurbished has been done well. Volunteers were most helpful and informative. There were baby doves which were so sweet. Easy parking, nice tea room.

First visited this Hall in 1967 when the private owners allowed Boy Scouts to camp in woods. 50 years later and now owned by National Trust it has a couple good walks. Loved it.

There was a 10yr old & almost 12yr old to satisfy & me (I'm 39 :) ) Our 1yr old twins I 'wear' in a tandem carry pack kind of thing so the terrain needed to... More

The hall is homely and comfortable for visitors. It gives one plenty of time to take it all in. The grounds are also wonderful with plent of nice walks to suit all.
