This church is magnificent. In any smaller cities this would be a cathedral. The stained glass creates wonderful colours in a sunny day. There is also a cafe next door if you need refreshment

St Peter Mancroft is sometimes considered (wrongly!) as one of the Cathedral's, although in reality we could say it is like the third Cathedral in town, just by the market. Beautiful building!

It used to be said that Norwich had a Church for every week of the year and a Pub for every day of the year! Although these numbers have changed over the years there are still many Churches and Sir Peter Mancroft - which overlooks...More

St. Peter Mancroft is a delightful historic church in the heart of Norwich. Built in the English Perpendicular style it's also the largest parish church in the city, and the resting place of several notables. The bells are a particular feature of the church, being...More

Lovely old church, well worth a visit especially as it is centrally located in the City Centre. Beautifully maintained, spacious and a joy to the eye whether you have religious convictions or not, the architecture, symmetry and dimensions are superb.

An excellent example of a Guild church, one of 31 in Norwich city centre. It is currently undergoing a major refurbishment (2018) and if often closed. If you can get in it is worth doing so. The windows are just fantastic

St Peter Mancroft Church is a beautiful church to visit but Don’t touch the small bell display as you’ll be sternly rebuked by a geriatric jobsworth for daring to touch these bells. Thank You for the wonderful welcome. So that’s how the Church of England...More

Thank you for your feedback. So sorry to hear about your experience as that’s the last thing we want to hear. We were having a bell ringing open day and it sounds like you may have come across our mini-ring which does need a little...More

Amid the bustling heart of the city this church provides the ideal retreat away from the nearby 'temples of consumerism'. The skill and craftmanship can be appreciated from the stained glass windows to the amazing construction itself and all the fine details.
