Some great buildings around her, a lot of history and well worth a visit, there are a lot of restaurants in the area, and even worth popping into the Maids Head hotel for a step back in time. Nice area for exploring.

Some fine old buildings here. Each time we visit hop off the bus in the centre and walk down Elm Hill to the Cathedral then as you exit the Cathedral entrance the old houses are in front of you.

Lots of lovely old buildings, pubs and churches to explore. Take your time and look up to see many different architectural details.

This part of Norwich is near the Lanes, such as Elm Hill and directly opposite the Cathedral. It’s one of the oldest areas of this delightful city and has some decent bars and restaurants.

Norwich is fantastic and the old houses in the lanes are interesting and beautiful but it is spoilt by the seediness of the area. The Pavement on Monday morning was full of butt ends, vomit here and there broken glass and even dog dirt. Years...More

This area is small but very pretty. There's a few places to eat, fine dineing, pubs and casual dineing places where you can eat outside sat in the shade or the sun on cobbled areas. The place is completely ruined by a main road and...More

So much history a great place to investigate. Norwich seems to me to be a thriving city. Lots of places to eat too.
