Super cool mysterious and lively hang out with super drinks and quirky lights. Very popular with the art students. I wasn't impressed mid morning as I went to use the toilet a female member of staff tried to query me on whether I'd actually purchased...More

Most enjoyable morning spent on Playhouse bar sofa, drinking their excellent coffee and eating (admittedly pre-wrapped) Bakewell tart, and doing ‘I’ and Guardian crosswords. Such friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere with outside tables & chairs by the river when warm enough. Definitely to be...More

Lovely little theatre which seemed to have good views from all seats. Saw Marcus Brigstocke and supporting act. Really great night out. Would definately go there again. 😁

We've never actually seen a play at the Playhouse, but the Playhouse Bar is one of our favourite hang-outs when we're in Norwich. The location itself looks excellent - you could spend an hour just examining the weird city on the ceiling and all the...More

Have lived here for sometime now and this is def one of my favourite places. You can sit with a book and a coffee or meet friends there and every one is friendly . Staff are great too . Relaxed, arty, unpretentious and highly recommend

Saw this at the playhouse last weekend. Superb acting and singing. The tickets were reasonably prices and such a lovely venue. We’ve booked for another event. Very impressed. Lots of nearby parking too

This is a great little theatre venue, smallish and intimate, and practically impossible to get a bad seat. Tickets are usually reasonably priced, and the variety of acts is usually very good. It is a particularly good venue to see comedy. Lots of top comics...More

What an enjoyable, funny evening! Outstanding performances throughout but Meg Artherton ( Lina Lamont ) was truly brilliant.Made me laugh out loud, followed closely by Tom Davies ( R.F Simpson ). Definitely recommend !

Brilliant theatre, lovely setting, comfortable seating, perfect sightlines from any seat, intimate feel, attracts top acts, and you're so close to the stage. Rhod Gilbert was on fine form btw. It's a lovely place.
