Every time a circus, funfair or other entertainment comes to Norwich it seems to end up in Chapelfield Gardens. There are plenty of other very good parks and open spaces in the CIty but Chapelfield seems to get them all. As a result the grass...More

On a warm sunny day this was a perfect place for a picnic and some 'quiet' time. It is a lovely green space in the centre of Norwich - there were plenty of people enjoying the sunshine. The café and ice-cream booth were open and...More

First time I have visited these gardens. We took a stroll around, there were people on the grass taking in the sun. The atmosphere was very good, .

I would not recommend walking through this park at night, it’s risky. Day time is beautiful and worth a visit.

Great little park to chill out with friends, listen to a trumpet band, play oversized chess and have a picnic. Small chip stand with drinks, manky public toilet, kids play area and Pedro's, my favourite restaurant serving Mexican food and lethal cocktails - wear a...More

A little haven of peace after a busy days shopping in the bustling shopping centre close by and of the same name. Chapelfield Gardens particularly come to flower during the summertime when you'll find all kinds of people relaxing, playing, picnicking and sitting in the...More

This could be a delightful enclave, close to the Forum, but it is scruffy and gloomy, favoured by people actually on the edge. There is a wildly over-priced Tex-Mex cafe and a scuzzy tea bar; :a waste of some magnificent trees and an elegant bandstand

Not sure about that one. I've never seen anyone with a bbq. I would suggest contacting Norwich City Council and asking them. Hope this helps.
