The market was visited on a Thursday when there were a lot of booths closed. There were not a lot of booths selling objects of the more expensive kin - a few selling rugs and mats, none selling antiques and at this time of year a great many were jumping on the Christmas bandwagon. We found it all rather cheap... More

We visited the market but found it quite unpleasant on a wet day. The traders were he same as you see in every market and the toilet, whilst free was swimming in water and the floor was very slippery. It's probably ok on a warm day but is a very average town centre market at best.

The market is array of goods/smells/noise. the atmosphere is amazing. The down side is the pigeons that fly through the market. One landed on my head at one point scaring the hell out of me and my children. it didn't feel hygienic to eat there, (although the smell of food cooking was amazing) I would highly recommend a visit while... Norwich Market is a definite must visit when in Norwich. Its easy to just walk past and visit the normal shops on the other side of Gentlemans Walk, but take a walk up the myriad of walkways and you will find so many really good stalls, food, crafts, tools and accessories, clothing and many many others. If you go their... More

Our visit to Norwich was made all the more special because of the market. So many stalls to get a taste of all this lovely town and area has to offer.

Great market but every stall sold similar items there wasn't many locally crafted or grown items and half the stalls were shut. Took us 15 minutes to walk around it all I wasn't impressed considering the hype.

I usually visit the market each time I visit Norwich. There are a large number of stalls. It may seem cramped but it must be remembered this is a market not a shopping mall. There are some good meat stalls selling local produce. There are also a number of fast food stalls. The market is less attractive in the winter... More

The market although structurally modern still feels outdated. There are a handful of good stalls but most are very old and an eye sore. I hate to say but the market is no longer a place it once. Its okay but nothing special.

Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. Not impressed with the market at all. Apart from a couple of good fresh fish stalls the rest did not inspire. The usual tat stalls and endless 'vape' stalls. The odd fruit and veg and other foods. There was a horrible smell, which was not from the cheeses!!! It was a stale urine smell that... More
