It's a busy bustling place to be. You can however relax and grab a coffee. My wife is pregnant with twins and we've been told it's one of the breast feeding friendly places to visit.

Stopped in here briefly to have a look and see what it's like. It is a nice open area with a gift shop and tourist information area near the entrance. There's a gallery next to this, which at the time had a animation exhibition on. There are art and craft stalls in the centre with a coffee shop and a... More

Although primarily the public library built when the old one burned down, it is much more, with a café and also the local Radio and TV station, plus a reasonable shop. And at weekend often has exhibitions, ,markets of various sorts. Always worth calling in if you are in the area

The main library is here as well as eateries, local BBC television and a plethora of other occupants. There's sometimes art displays and outside a skating rink in winter. Seating is a bit minimal if you just need to have a break though. The Forum is a modern building set in the location of the former main library that burnt... More

Built to replace the old library which burned down, the Forum is a fantastic, multi-purpose venue. Housing the City Library, it is also home to the local BBC. The Fusion cinema is quite remarkable - they put on lots of varied short films on the curved screens. There is a good, but pricey café and Pizza Express upstairs. The main... More

Not only a library and the county records but a meeting place and artistic venue with, at the appropriate time of year, an ice rink as well

Stunning if appreciate modern architecture. Very busy food outlets which result in probable queues in busy periods and associated prices (not the cheapest in town)

Left my review in the library page, as didn't realise they were separate. See there for review of it. Interesting exhibit, only found it my accident, while looking at the Christmas market, great shame, it was advertised better.
