Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not usually comfortable with average reviews , but really wasn't sure about this one! Maze very big and good, and then I felt the rest of it was just rather like a normal park. There were some little go karts; you have to pay for these and on top of the £28 to get in , felt a bit of a Swizz. The pedal go carts had a slope uphill to get round - not easy when you are 5.

We went to this attraction yesterday. I did think it was a little expensive, however as it wasn't busy my little one could repeatedly go on and off everything, which I imagine wouldn't be doable in the summer weather.

The maize of maze was really good, really novel experience.

The food and drunk was really expensive and very slow, needed a buzzer and quite a wait just for hot drinks would recommend taking a picnic.

It is good for a few hours max if you're able to repeat everything.

Staff were extremely friendly and interactive with customers and the animals.

Great Fun - only discovered Wizard Maze a couple of weeks ago and returned today at the request of the children. It’s great old fashioned fun, running, jumping and go cart peddling - lots of running to tire the children and adults.
There’s clearly been investment - the play equipment is high quality - the cafe serves very decent barrister style coffee and good quality local ice cream - what we saw of the food (we took a picnic) look fresh and appealing. Lots of picnic tables - loos were clean and obviously checked on a regular basis. The staff were friendly, informative and clearly enjoying working there. The only downside for us was not finding this little gem earlier in the season - and that it’s closing this week!!
We were the last to leave and managed a chat with the owner who was very receptive to our comments for the future.

I didn’t feel it was worth the entry fee. I couldn’t recommend as good value. I think it shouldn’t be more than £5 max per child and free to adults. The crazy golf was free but they ran out of clubs. Was told on entry the tractor train ran on the hour every hour indicating a fairly long ride, in fact it was no more than 5 mins each run but it did several each hour. I would recommend taking food and drink, service at the cafe was very slow. I would go again.

Arrived 3pm after visiting elsewhere. They close at 5pm and this was plenty of time. However, it is expensive as adults are charged the same as children, and there is no differentiation between the cost of arriving when they open or nearer closing.

Maize maze is fab; there is a creature hunt while you go and a platform in the centre to survey the field. Tractor rides run every hour and you are entitled to one ride. Unfortunately a group of youths ignored the queue and jumped on and the staff member did not challenge them or check tickets, just said he would come back and make sure all passengers rode - and he was true to his word. Ride itself around the edge of the maze was cute.

A couple of jumping pillows and playgrounds were enjoyed. There are a few animals to see and pedal bikes/carts to ride. Electric quad bikes available for extra charge.

We had an enjoyable time but did not need more than a couple of hours there. Plenty of parking available.

Ample parking.
A good day out for younger family members especially although there were older kids enjoying themselves there too.
It doesn't look huge but our kids were occupied all afternoon. There is a zip wire, a hay bale climbing, a couple of climbing frames, swings, and most popular the peddle go-karts. Crazy golf, a bit basic but the kids lived it.
There was a tractor pulled trip. And of course the maze itself.
There is simple food on site but we took a picnic.
Plenty of picnic tables so no need to worry about grabbing one.

What a lovely place! Loads to do and my two 5&3 year old loved it. The maze is fun and lots of bugs to find.
Amazing bouncing fun and play areas as well as animals, quad bikes, tractor rides and mini golf. Great day out and reasonable price

We had a good day at the maze in the summer with our 4 grandchildren. The maze and other activities kept everyone occupied for about 4 hours. Reasonable cafe on site

Overall well worth the visit

Having lived in Sheringham for most of my youth, it was a yearly escursion for me and my friends to visit the wizard maze to enjoy a day of searching for clues and all round fun. Now, at 20 years old, the maze remains one of my favourite activities to do. However, today I was left sorely disappointed.

I have been home for the summer after a busy year of university, working at a local cafe to earn some much needed money for another year living in London. As it is my last weekend in Norfolk, I thought it important to spend some quality time with my parents before heading back to the big smoke.

I had searched the maze’s website a few weeks ago to make sure that we knew what dates it was open, as unfortunately, last year when we tried to the visit the maze it was closed. That had been our own fault, I must admit, but this year I would not let that happen again! As I said, I checked their website a few weeks ago, and my father checked again this morning, both times the website stated that this weekend (8/9th September) would be their last weekend open.

Result! Not only would most tourists have left by then, but with the slightly cooler weather we would be in with a chance of having a day out at the maze with relatively a small number of people there at the same time. Not that I dislike the tourist boom that brings some much needed revenue to the county of Norfolk, but after having spent most of my days in a busy cafe, it would be nice for a bit of quiet to spend some quality time with the parents.

So, without further ado, my parents and I packed up a picnic and set off in the car towards the wizard maze. But, and this is where the story takes a turn, the maze looked to be all shut up! We stopped by the entrance and to our utter disappointment, it would seem that the owners had decided that they wouldn’t open up for their supposed last day of business.

I’m not being funny, but in this technological era that we live in, a business that has a comprehensive website should be able to be changed to let customers know if the opening dates have changed for any reason. Had this morning, when my father checked the website, it stated that because of one reason or another they had decided they would not be opening up on this last weekend, I could have understood. But no! There was nothing on their website! So when we did turn up and the gate was locked, we were rather surprised and quite angry.

Whilst our car was parked out front, we also saw another vehicle go past, clearly looking to get into the maze. This family were obviously looking for a nice day out, just as we were. It is abhorrent that a business which caters to children would allow them to be so disappointed. I’m a 20 year old and I was rather upset, I can’t imagine how those two little ones felt in the back of that car.

I will not be trying to go to the maze ever again! Why should I try when they’ll probably just be closed. I hope they read this and actually do something about their communication with consumers, because it isn’t right that they don’t give us the information we need.

I’m just glad that I don’t live miles away, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to salvage my day by taking my picnic elsewhere.

A little pricey for adults but that tends to be the case for most places. Maze was good, although it took a while and could have had a little more info (I.e. is exit separate to entrance) but in hindsight we could have asked. Play areas for kids were good and everything was generally well kept
