    Great view at breakfast.
A great place to go for breakfast if you can find it. It's tucked away at the top end of great Fryupdale and once there the views are breathtaking. "the great Fryup" breakfast and the coffee are both superb and reasonable priced. Well worth the visit whether you are on a bike or in the car.

    Great cafe.
Great little cafe. Been here a few times since it opened. Full English Breakfast lovely always. Only thing it was missing was the lovely homemade hashbrowns! Other than that, great service, staff friendly, served quickly. What’s not to like?

    What a fantastic place!
My second year with our cycle club to the YCH, we were there from Friday to Sunday and we had another fantastic weekend! The owner, Phil and all the staff were as friendly as ever, the accommodation was spotless and as for the catering, it was delicious!! Thank you Phil & team, we’ll definitely be back again very soon!

    Fabulous cycling venue
A group of twenty one mountain biking women celebrated the best of weekends here. The perfect place for a cycle group to gather with stunning scenery surrounding the hub. Phil and Ann went out of their way to accommodate all our needs and provide invaluable technical support. The rooms are very comfortable with full size bunks and well spaced beds. We could gather in the spacious lounge and enjoy a slide show of our twenty year biking history together. We would all definitely return - and the soup and cheese scone in the cafe an added bonus.

One of the best cafes in North Yorkshire. (I've tried plenty)
I've been to the cycle hub and cafe several times. Hidden away in Fryup but the centre of the Universe for bikers wanting to hit the North Yorkshire Moors trails, of which there is plenty of good riding (and hiking) and useful parking. The cafe offers great freshly made food for bikers, hikers and anyone really. We had the best homemade tomato soup and freshly baked cheese scones. The cafe with it's outside deck sits on the hillside giving stunning views. Well worth the pretty drive to get there. I'm giving top marks because it's always good and served with a smile. I hope to be a happy customer for years to come.

Visited the Cycle Hub for the second time and was very disappointed. Burger pink inside and the fry-up was burnt. Also waited about an hour for food. The first time we visited it was good, but after today we won’t be returning.

Very good experience at the Yorkshire Cycle Hub last week. Lots of Covid precautions. Had an absolutely epic BLT sandwich. Very friendly and patient staff and complimentary charge of ebikes while we were there.

Stunning location, with breath taking views that can be enjoyed while you wait, and wait, and wait for your drink to arrive. Staff get up and go is non-existent, the chef came through to challenge my question on how long food would take and the lad on the coffee machine seemed more interested in looking at a spoon than making drinks. This place needs to try to get itself onto Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares to get Gordon to sort it out. In-fact it was that bad my friend and I laughed that the numbers being called for the food may have been sold yesterday! A shame really as the place is spacious and in a lovely location, but please get somebody to shake the cafe up as it ruined our visit, as it appeared to ruin others visiting too.

Needed to replace a broken chain on my bike while on holiday in the area.
Was fitted in with no problem or hesitation.
An amazing place, well stocked bike shop and a fantastic cafe with amazing views across the valley.
Our food and drinks were very good, the home made pie on the special’s board is a must!
If we lived locally this would be our go to place with out question.

The Cycle hub has lovely views over the beautiful Fryupdale valley, a very short detour from the Coast to Coast path, right on the North Yorkshire Moors, near Whitby.
It is a resting place for cyclists, with accommodation and cycle repair facilities. But it is also somewhere for walkers and where families can come to hire bikes and try the centre’s scrambling course.
You can buy simple meals and snacks or simply purchase a coffee or tea and sit and admire the view.
Everyone is made welcome.
Locals use it so it must be good.

What a wonderful place. If you cycle it’s a no brainier, but even if you don’t it’s well worth a visit. The staff are lovely and so helpful, the food and accommodation are first rate. As for the area, we’ll you’ll just have to see it in person, as it is indescribable in it’s beauty… Please visit, you won’t be disappointed 👌🏻
