Our family-run distillery on the rugged North Yorkshire coastline produces the finest artisan spirits including the multi-award-winning Whitby Gin range and rum. A great experience delivered by a really engaging host who obviously loves the product and family at the heart of this business. An interesting story of the origins of the Whitby Distillery.
A lovely refreshing welcoming G&T, and tasting of different gins and rum compliment the session. You get to keep the glass which is a nice keepsake. Look forward to visiting in their new home at the Abbey when it is ready.

We arranged a coach visit for 24 South Durham u3a members. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their visit. The staff were very friendly and it was heartwarming to hear how a young couple set up a new venture, survived through the pressures of covid and expanded into their own premises and are now preparing for another move in the near future. We were very impressed by their obvious passion for what they are doing and their applaudable environmental ethos and minimal waste philosophy. The gin was pretty good too!

Whitby Gin Tour, what a lovely place, enjoyable history show and then tour. We tasted a variety of gins and rums and even got to keep the glass. Would highly recommend the tour

What an amazing place, highly recommend the Gin Distillery tour, so informative, got to try various gins and rum, very hard to decide which one we liked the best as all so very good, can't wait to visit you again when you finally get the new location.

Visited the Whitby Distillery for a tour recently, the whole experience was interesting and most importantly, good fun. Phil and Fred ran through the whole distillery process, the tasting session was great.
Once their new premises are up and running in Whitby I am quite sure that even more success is just around the corner.

Excellent tour! Our tour guide, with his friendly manner, gave us an excellent and entertaining insight into the distillery. The tasting of the high-quality gin varieties rounded off the tour perfectly. I recommend this tour to anyone holidaying in Whitby!

I have been to a few gin distillery tours over the years but this is the best gin experience I have had so far. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable about Whitby gin and the business. A retired paramedic, he made us laugh throughout and as military veterans we greatly appreciated his humour, and his passion for the business and product.
A very enjoyable afternoon. Thank you to Fredrick (Fred) who was on hand to answer questions and keep us supplied with different gin samples.
We were able to take our Whitby gin glasses home. This was appreciated and is a reminder of a excellent gin tasting experience.
I will return when you move into your stunning new premises.

We took the tour 03/11/2023 and we travelled down from County Durham, and I have to say we were not disappointed, the guide(sorry forgot his name) too busy enjoying the gin, was brilliant, informative and totally engaging with us, the tour was fab and we came away with several bottles, well done Whitby Gin

We were up in Whitby for my wife's birthday and we love Whitby Gin so took the opportunity to take the distillery tour and we are just so glad that we did. The guide was extremely informative and humorous and we thoroughly enjoyed the hour plus in his company. If you love your gin, then this is the tour for you!
