Small safe enclosed beach. Pretty views and clean. Dogs allowed on leads. Larger beach at west point.

Very clean and friendly. Lovely breakfast from a good choice of menu. Homemade veggie sausages and Simon makes his own fresh baked bread! They also offer Whitby Kippers which are a real treat. Good location to explore Whitby and surrounding areas.

Typically English, took a wonderful stroll and was greeted as if we were locals, patted a million beautiful dogs, and was even invited for a wine from a cheeky chappie, what a wonderful place this is, Whitby we love you. Your beach is lovely!

In certain parts, we go early it late in the day usually nobody has complained, or we have kept him on the lead.

May to october no dogs on west side but dogs can use the east side beaches (beneath the abbey) all year round which at low tide are fantastic
