    Wildlife Encounter
I bought my boyfriend the wildlife encounter for his birthday and we both absolutely loved it. It was £50 for both of us to have an hour session with one of the zoo keepers which was such good value. We had Laura who was lovely! She showed us around the reptile room and we met the armadillos. They do ask if there are any animals you'd like to see at the beginning. After the encounter, we went around the park, it is quite small but there is a great mix of animals who all seem happy and active. The space in general is really green and nice to wander round. I'd definitely go back!

    Brilliant Animal Encounter Experience!
I bought my partner and I animal encounter tickets for her birthday and we were not disappointed one bit! We started out with a quick tour of the reptile room, followed by a very up close encounter with the park's tenrecs (an animal we hadn't even heard of and that isn't usually part of the experience but we got lucky!), and then finally the bit we were most excited for - up close and personal with the armadillos! Overall a 10/10 experience with some very knowledgeable staff members, and great value to boot - would 100% recommend to any animal lovers :)

    Top notch!
We’ve always had such a great time here, the animals are well cared for and plenty to see! There are interesting competitions and events too such as individual/ group animal meetings. Great car parking facilities, a little cafe next door and gift shop - would highly recommend especially for little ones

Great place to spend an hour or two.
This is a lovely little place to spend a couple of hours. My son who is 6 especially loved the otters. There were some really nice talks as well. We saw the one about the lemurs and it was great. It has beautiful grounds so if it had been a sunny day we may have stayed longer. It is small but I feel that is reflected in the price. It was £23 for 2 adults and one child so not too bad. My only negative some of the seating areas were cordened off, also the playground looked a bit tired. We loved the playground when we came a few years ago, it was a shame the big slide was out of action, I hope this gets fixed soon.

    Perfect for animal lovers!
Small but perfectly formed. Lots of variety of animal in gorgeous settings. All the animals are clearly well cared for, healthy and happy. The enclosures are large and well kept. The animals were very inquisitive and active, and the grounds are well kept.

This experience was value for money. The animals are well looked after and enclosures are looked after very well .They priotise the needs of their animals and you can see that they thrive in their environment.
The staff are polite and friendly and happy to answer questions about their animals.
It's wheelchair friendly with just one little of area of grass that is still maneuverable.
Highly recommend for a day out.

Great place, has expanded since I last visited. My highlight was the raccoons. My daughter fed a lizard & touched a snake 🐍. We came as 2x adults & 5x children

Poor Christmas experience. No Xmas decorations. The time slots to see Santa began from 4pm when it’s dark…and when the wildlife park is closed.. yes you could come just before and access the park (which we did but it’s very small and a lot of animals are hiding because of the cold) but with the park being only small you wouldn’t want to be there too early and be just hanging around as there isn’t anywhere to hang .. lots of people stood around in the lobby area waiting for their time slot with Santa. A couple of tables had some naff Xmas crafts on where the glue sticks didn’t even work..if you can call it that. Not enough seats.
Then eventually your lead down a dark unlit path, no Xmas lights , to see Santa. The gift was a very small soft toy .. a tiger .. which doesn’t even link to the wildlife park as they don’t have tigers , perhaps an otter or lemur would have been better..
This cost £12 for a child and adults had to pay £6.95 each so the whole thing costs around £26 for two adult and just one child , which was a rip off.
I won’t be returning next year and advise others not to bother as well.
