Good place to stop and have tea on the way to a final destination, not sure Its worth a major detour, that said its pleasant enough if the weather is kind to you. Seasonal visit recommended otherwise not much to see.

We visited in August 2018. Arrived at 3.30pm. What a gorgeous place! Awesome views, you can see for miles. Lovely children’s area and football pitch/space. Loads of bees obviously but didn’t bother the kids at all, they ran along the rows of lavender really happily....More

We saw signs to say that they do allow guide dogs into the gardens, but that have extensive grounds for dogs to roam away from the lavender.

There are lavender fields but I’m not sure about dog facilities. You may wish to ring them to confirm
