A fun evening walk, which ended at a good time to go out for dinner afterwards. It was a large group, but the guide always made sure everyone could see, and spoke clearly and loudly enough for everyone to hear. Some good stories and entertainment.

The ghost walk was good and entertaining. On a good length of time, about 45 minutes. Not too long, not too short. Plus the guy doing the talk looks like Tommy Shelby!! (In the dark he did anyway) Night made!

My partner and I did the ghost walk this evening and it was a really good night! There are lots to choose from and some are slightly cheaper, but as it was between Christmas and New Year, I didn’t know if they were all running...More

This was really good fun. The guide (James) was brilliant and very amusing. The stories were good but I am sure there must have been more ghosts we could have identified along the way. One downside was that we all paid the ticket price to...More

Started well and showed us some interesting places and stories but did over dramatise all the time. We didn't think it was worth £6 and left early when the guy asked the group to wave at people in a restaurant and then pull funny faces...More

...for an entertaining hour and a half wandering around York with some historical and spectral stories. Not particularly scary although perhaps were it in the dark of winter it may be very different. The guide knows his stories and involves some of the younger participants...More

This ghost walk was a lot of fun. The guide Pat (I think, might be wrong about the name) was very entertaining and a good storyteller. The group size was huge though, I think there was well over 40 people, maybe over 50. It meant...More

A mix of both. There are plenty of ghost stories but also a fair amount of history as the two go together.
