Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hamlet Of St Marygate is one of the oldest parts of York ,the architectural styles here denote it's great age ,the beautiful defensive walls complete with arrow slits leading down to St Olaves Church, Marygate Tower which looks amazing, it's just a fantastic area to visit.
My twin brother Stephen and I were heading to the wonderful Minster Inn to enjoy a few pints of real ale on a rainy, cold Saturday night, we walked down Minster Walk and enjoyed the beautiful architecture of this area, the tower at night looked awesome, I took a few photos before sheltering and warming up in The Minster Inn.
A wonderful area of York, most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.
