A short, end of day visit after a tour or the Minster and before returning to our coach. Slightly disappointed that the house did not show more of how it would have been during it's time as the house of the Treasurer of the Minster....More

Found this near the Minster. Ghost tour worth doing although the contents of the house weren't very old. The guides in each room were very knowledgable and enthusiastic. Lovely cafe.

Beautiful gardens, allowed to take the tea from the cafe to eat outside (as we had the dogs with us). House interesting, staff very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Everything was spot on.
