A must for anyone visiting York, top attraction in my opinion, well set up, will return next year with the kids. Took the option of a drink at the bar at the end of the tour, fabulous cocktail, great place all round.

We popped in here to kill some time as we have Merlin Passes so skipped the queue. It was very good however a little bit of too much talking in some sections but all of the dungeons are like this. Takes about an hour and...More

Visited hesitantly with my 6 and 9 year old (worried younger one may find it too much), but they loved it!

Having been disappointed by the Viking centre we did not know what expect from this place but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This lasted for roughly 80 minutes and was very entertaining and quite scary at times! Well worth a visit.

a well worn concept and one our teenagers enjoyed. however the place its self is looking sad and the experience really relies on the actors some are better than others. some investment is needed and at £16 warranted

At the start of the tour the actor quietly asked if anyone was pregnant or had a bad leg. I didn’t clearly hear this it was quite painful when the floor dropped. I’ve had a hip replacement and have osteoarthritis. It would be nice if...More

Hi Emma. We tend to be quiet between 10-12 on a Sunday. We would strongly recommend pre-booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Hi Tracey. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pre-book in advance using the York Pass. Just simply turn up and we will allocate you onto the next available tour

You could always not go but let your family go unaccompanied? Attraction is very tame, just stand at the back and I am sure you will not be asked to participate.
