York certainly has many unmissable sights but it's always nice to take home that little something you've discovered to keep as a reminder of your trip.
Pyramid Gallery is a little gem of a shop to discover on your walk through the Shambles. Full of unique quality arts & crafts, jewellery & lots more. I for one love to shop jewellery & was in my element surrounded by so many interesting designs. Two purchases later & I returned the following day for another two!
If I could wrap this shop up & pack it in my suitcase I wouldn't hesitate! Shopping made fun with such patient & thoroughly pleasant staff. Wonderful experience xx

Fine selection of lovely crafts and jewellery. Found the right gift on this occasion, as on several over the years. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff, in a relaxing, characterful environment. The gallery suits and complements York.

This small, eclectic gallery has a delightful assortment of local and regional art that changes frequently. There is something for almost everyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Come back often because there is always something new.

this tiny shop has a great variety of different crafts and lovely jewellery, all from artists in the UK. The staff will tell you how and where everything is made - they are very helpful and enthusiastic about the things on display

We have visited York over the last 15 years and always pop into the gallery. Its excellent. Uptodate modern artists with a good selection of interesting art. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Well worth a visit

Today I went to the new exhibition which celebrates 25 years of the gallery being a partner of London Glassblowing.
The exhibits are all top quality and superbly crafted. A visit is highly recommended.

I have been going to the Pyramid since I landed in York many years ago. Initially I went to look and enjoy as I simply hadn,t the money, Terry and his team never complained and I was always welcomed ... But as I grew older and a (little) more prosperous I started to buy . Presents , pictures , jewellery and more . Never a disappointed recipient I have to say . Then one day after many years of looking at them from afar, I found myself able to afford a beautiful piece of Colin Reid glass .
And now I have the privilege of Terry and his team actually recommending new things of great beauty to me !
I may be a bit biased but if you miss out on just popping in for a look at the lovely, ecletic and affordable art and jewellry that is constantly on display your life will be the poorer . If you are lucky enough to be able to afford to buy , I would challenge you to leave without a little something in a bag ! Go and Enjoy .

An eclectic mix of art from prints and photography to ceramics and more there is such a wide range there is something to suit everyone and it is well worth a visit to find something special for your home

Just 50m from York Minster this charming gallery holds a mass of delights. Art and sculpture are well displayed over 3 floors in this quaint building and all the artists are well credited by the thoughtful staff. Items range from souvenirs to showcase pieces, and all of a high standard. Allow 20 minutes at least!

This is a commercial gallery in Stonegate in the centre of York. The staff are very friendly and there is a wide range of art for sale, the ceramics being particularly well presented.
