Very rewarding experience, good value, the 'old chap' curator was very friendly and knowledgeable. Joint ticket with equally good Henry VII museum.

The space was limited due to the building but that said it was informative. Be nigh on impossible to visit if you had difficulty in climbing stairs.

For a small museum, there was a lot to do and see. Lot of information was available along the way with many interactive games and things to try on. The ticket also allows entry for the Henry VII museum!

We bought a combo ticket for Monk Bar and Micklegate. The staff were very knowledgeable and shared a wealth of information. There were videos and hands-on activities for young and old. Well worth the visit as you stroll the wall!

Great small exhibition about Richard III and the Battle of Towton, lots of interactive games and not too much information to take in. Went in as part of York Pass but this would be good value for money.

A very informative little history museum telling the story of the war of the roses in the ultimate historic setting. For a small place they've packed in a lot of information including a interesting video on the key battles. However said video was quite loud...More
