Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Any city or town I visit in the United Kingdom I always keep an eye peeled for blue plaques, nearly always attached to buildings of historical importance or dedicated to people who helped in the development of a town or city,York was packed with blue plaques ,this one in honour of John Philip is notable .
The blue plaque is located down Marygate on a building heading into Museum Gardens ,it states that John Philip ( 1800- 1874 ) was a Yorkshire Philosophical Society Officer and the first keeper of the Yorkshire Museum were he lived between 1839-1853 ,the museum is housed within Museum Gardens and is a big tourist attraction,it's nice to make a link to someone who was integral in the museums success and his efforts are still being enjoyed in 2022 ,easy to locate along Marygate, well worth a minute or so of your time.
