We thoroughly enjoyed the panto , never having seen Berwick before. The sets, the costumes, the music, everything was wonderful and we all agreed it was the best panto we'd ever seen.
We loved the theatre and loved sitting in the "gods". The whole ambience...More
I have been every year to the panto and loved every one barring this one. It was so much about berwick leaving that the show lost its magic. It had no substance at all and the youngsters were bored, didn’t know what was going on...More
Dame Berwick Kaler's 40th panto and sadly his last. Been to almost every one with various family members. Witty and and amusing on several levels. Appeals to all ages. Dialogue (written by BK) full of puns, jokes and quick fire repartee. Glad to see David...More
Decided to eat here again ( I year on ) but why is the blackboard menu in the Bistro area and the ordering is done at the café area ? very confusing and annoying .
The meal was very good and reasonable in price.
Our annual Christmas tradition is going to watch the panto!! Berwick Kalers panto is definitely the best in the country and quite possibly the best in the world! We are so sad that it is his last show but hope that nexts years show will...More

The Studio seating is in the shape of a "U" - that is seating on three sides, each side has three tiered rows with a further row of 8 seats on the left hand side. Row A (normally 26 seats max) is on the flat level, so is the best for anyone with mobility problems. If the Visitor is in a wheelchair, the Theatre will have to be told so they can remove seating as appropriate. There is a wheelchair lift from the main entrance area to the Studio level.
I would say the best viewing would be facing the Stage Row A seats 8-19 : Row B seats 9-22 : Row C seats 11-30.
I hope this helps.
