Visited during half term with a very autistic 13 year old boy. Really enjoyed our time, short walk, quick play on the park and a drink/snack from the cafe. It was the highlight of his week. Only question I have come away with is "Why are there no litter bins?" I understand that you'd need to employ someone to empty... More

Absolutely loved walking around the country park. clean, the views are great but the only thing I would say is there are no bins of which we found on any of the walks and the cafe was really dirty, under staffed and I didn't even dare try the food. The picnic benches we saw as we walked round looked abit... More

We chose to live nearby partially because of Pitsford water and the country park. The park can be busy at weekends and the track around the lake can at peak times be busy with walkers, runners, cyclists and dog walkers but otherwise it's good The cafe is ok but could be better, the bike shop is excellent especially for bike... If you would like a coffee at the end of your walk prepare for a long wait! It took 30 minutes to get served! I waited outside while my partner went to get coffees & I couldn't believe how long it took! The queue extended to the door at one point & dogs were howling outside because they thought their... I particularly wanted to comment on the café today as I notice that previous contributors have been quite critical. On entering, it wasn't busy so no long wait , the whole place was good on the eye. The display of food was excellent. Lovely selection of cakes on display looking very appetising, with no look of being sat there all... More

Stunning scenery. Lots of wildlife, especially birds, Rangers on site.Great children's play area! Cycle hire is great fun! Extra Car parking available on busy days. Various activities held here throughout the year - last weeks was a brilliant Halloween trail for kids! We love an early morning walk here too and it's great to bring friends and family over. Cafe... Lovely venue and event for the Northamptonshire Day, it was such a pity the Cafe wasn't prepared for the number of people, queued half an hour in the cold (queue was outside when we joined it) and paid too much for 2 cappuccinos that didn't even taste of coffee, toast was still white, plus average chips, layout of cafe not... We are staying at Sedgebrook Hotel and looked on the internet things to do. We decided to come to the park and completed an hour walk around. I have to say some of the spots you can stop off and sit to listen to nature are really good. Really enjoyed it just wish some of the construction areas where completed..

The trail was really nice, my children enjoyed this. I still think that the council are taking the mick a little with £3 parking considering the toilets were pretty grim and looked like they required a deep clean, plus it cost me £7.95 for 3 ice creams in the willow shop. Even the lady serving me said she thought they... More

We hadn't been to Brixworth Country park for a few years, but decided to return for a picnic with our two children. There were benches to sit at to eat, but the table was so far away from the benches that our 6 year old daughter couldn't reach it (even I struggled). We went on the one hour walk to... More
