Virtual Aerospace operate 9 professional Flight Simulators in, Northampton, Manchester, Burgess Hill, Shoreham, Cardiff and Gloucester. Our customers range from professional pilots,enthusiasts, flight simulator fans and experience days to people with a severe fear of flying. All of our instructors are commercially qualified with a number flying as current airline pilots with various airlines. The remainder are full time professional flight instructors with over 50 different types and more than 60,000 flying hours between them. Our instructors have flown everything from Boeing B747, B707, B737, Airbus A319, A320 & A321 through to large propliners and fast jets. If you are looking for a 5* rated simulation experience then we are the perfect destination.

Been wanting to fly a Vulcan Bomber for a long time, and what a great experience it was. My instructor Martyn was very knowledgeable, extremely competent and made the flight all hands on for me. Thanks for a good flight.

Absolutely brilliant experience. Exciting and lots of fun. I am grateful to Martyn who did a first class job of assessing and advising how I could get the best out of the "sortie" and make the most of my time flying the Vulcan. His instruction was excellent and well paced and balanced, just right foe me . As the flight developed he set up some terrific surprises which added to the fun. Thank you as well for all your courtesy and consideration on day.

I was dealing with a lady called Elaine.
The Northampton branch had been shut down and so I asked for a refund, which was refused.
I considered Manchester because I didn't want to lose my money.
I asked for a load of dates when I was available, but they were unable to book me in when I wanted.
After many emails backwards and forwards she sent this email to me by mistake that should have gone to her boss.
It stated "another complainer", "thrown his toys out of his pram" and that she is happy "to play hardball".
This shows the level of support you get from them.
I do not want to travel to Manchester.
When I bought the voucher the Northampton site was open.
I have tried writing to them but they have just sent my letters back.
This was a Christmas present for my Son. Please do not make the same mistake as I did. They were unable to give me a date and you cannot guarantee you will get booked.
Also, you cannot book online you have to ring or email.
Absolutely useless.

We understand your frustration with the booking times but i am shocked that you needed to make up the line about receiving an email by mistake. We have checked our records and that was never sent. In addition it is certainly not the sort of thing that Elaine would say.

The whole experiance was amazing, I took control of the Aveo Vulcan Bomber flight sim and it was amazing, exactly what I expected and more, you have free choice of where you want to fly from and what you want to do in the air, you get talked through the controls and the different guages so you know what your looking at and your confident, from take offs to landings you get to do the lot, the cockpit is a like for like rendition of the actual plane itself, the co-pilot/instructor was very friendly easy to talk to and we had a right laugh, if your aviation then this is an experience you don't want to miss out on.

Fantastic experience in the Vulcan, worth every penny, you do feel like you are flying the aircraft. Big thanks to Greg my co pilot who explained everything I needed to do without getting too technical. We had a great flight around the lake District and only crashed once, sorry to the people of Kendal. Highly recommend the experience. I will be back for the Spitfire.

I have always wanted to be a Pilot from a very young age - and this was absolutely the best next thing (without the years of hard work, training, delays and everting else pilots have to endure!).
The simulator experience was amazing - it all felt so real, and every interaction with the controls resulted in the plane responding in a way that felt entirely realistic.
Tim was my instructor for the day - a man of considerable knowledge and experience who explained how the plane worked in great detail (perfect for an aviation enthusiast) and who made the whole experience great fun. It was easy to believe you were actually sat in the cockpit of a real 737 at times
Certainly as close as I will ever get to the real cockpit of a 737 and an absolute blast - highly recommended

Had a flight simulator experience with Gary which was very professionally delivered, fun and he was very engaging with myself and my family who came along to watch. Would definitely recommend, great set up and great experience all round, 10/10!

Today I went to Virtual Aerospace in Northampton for a flight experience on a 737 flight simulator. I had an amazing time. Howard was a brilliant pilot instructor who offered me a range of options to experience.
I had wanted to do this for a long time but never did I think it would be so fantastic I will definitely do this again and I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to all my friends.
Thank you Howard for such a great adventure.

Has anyone experienced issues with booking?- ive rung about 15 times today to try and book...either *engaged/answerphone, *silence on other end, *lady cant hear me?!, *get cut off in mid conversation/goes silent when taking details??!!

Hi There .... the price depends purely on the length of time you wish to book for, and the type of package you'd like. The number of people you wish to share it with doesn't effect the price, but I would suggest an hour each is a good session enabling you both to fully benefit from this great experience. In addition the second person can also sit in the cockpit behind the one flying, so is perfectly positioned to observe and interact. Happy flying 😀

Hi, you do indeed. You just give us a call and we find a slot in the diary for you and a time. Weekends are very busy so think ahead if you want a weekend slot.

I think you will find you have to e mail them with your requirements to make first contact, they do not book via the web site. After an exchange of emails it is usually followed with a telephone call for final confirmation. A great experience you will enjoy, I hope to go back and do the motion simulator

Hi. Its a great way to,extend your cockpit time and we find most customers love this addin. In a normal session you join the aircraft lined up on the runway with the engines running. In the gate to gate you join the aircraft engines off and at the gate. Your instructor and you will go through pre flight checks together and you will assist in starting the engines and configuring all the buttons for flight. You are then pushed back from the stand and you taxi it out to the runway, upon landing you taxi back to the gates and complete a shutdown. We cannot stress how much additional immersion this provides as well as spending much longer in the cockpit environments hope this answers your question.
