We used Whilton Mill Activities Centre for part my son's stag weekend. The activities we participated in were clay pigeon shooting, karting & archery. Our group thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and the staff who instructed and marshalled us were without exception, excellent. They were professional, competent, friendly and went over and above to ensure we enjoyed the experience. The centre arranged all activities and each was managed perfectly. I must not forget the restaurant staff who were also excellent and looked after us very well for a lunch and breakfast. I would without hesitation, recommend Whilton Mill Activities Centre for all the activities we took part in. Thank you so much to Dawn Turland and all the staff.

Took our 7 year old granddaughter to Crazi Bugz yesterday. She was the only one on the session so got 1:1 with Matt, who was great with her. She thoroughly enjoyed it. We then had lunch in the cafe upstairs, which again was lovely. Would definitely recommend and we will return.

I bought the quad bike safari as a gift for my mum as she loves outdoor activities, we’ve done our share of experiences over the years and this was one of the best. I was already impressed that we received an email prior to the event checking for dietary requirements for our lunch which was included. On the day I had to call the venue as the satnav arrived at the garden centre (a short stones throw away) but I got straight through on the phone and was given clear instructions on where we needed to be. On arrival we were greeted by two lovely staff (Louis and Jess), they made us feel extremely welcome. We were then kitted out and on our way, the quads themselves were great, we had time to get to know the quads and then headed off through some fun terrain! Lunch was another great experience, lovely food and very filling. All staff were great and we really felt liked valued customers. I cannot thank Louis and the team enough for providing such a wonderful experience today.

We had such a brilliant time. We did the Quad Biking Experience and had so much fun. Have not been able to stop talking about it since. Highly recommend! Jack was great too and made sure we had a great time. Would definitely go again, and fingers crossed for more mud next time!

So much better than we could have hoped for. Ben and Tom were great and ensured that we got to do everything we could have expected to have done in the time available. Friendly reception from the start and the day just got better once out on the machines. The facilities, equipment and overall environment were excellent and really could not be improved on. The lunch pack was freshly prepared and tasty and served in a timely manner so we were able to enjoy it and get out on time for our afternoon session. Would recommend if you are looking for a thoroughly enjoyable experience with family or a group of friends.

Great day on Bank Holiday Monday (26/08/24) morning at Whilton Mill - great team running the site and our 9 year old daughter simply loved it all. It was our daughter's birthday treat and the team made her feel really special. But really, the team there made everyone feel special. Thank you to the team - we will certainly be booking again soon. Would recommend to anyone as a great day out.

We took two boys, who had karted before, to the novice session for sign off. I (and they) thought the instructors had managed the levels on the track really well and they had an enjoyable experience - which they weren't expecting :-) . The instructor knew they could kart and he really lead them around the track well, at a decent speed, so they learned the track and how to drive on it. I particularly liked the fact he slowed them down to put a large distance between them and the others so they could then safely get some speed up around the harder parts they needed to learn. Very well managed. The only part which let the whole experience down was the not so warm reception and information provided at the reception (and on the website) to how the novice experience worked. I have had much better from other sites - it almost made me feel like we shouldn't have been there as we were an inconvenience - but the experience and instructors made up for that so it didn't put us off.
