What an amazing place and fantastic value for money. We arrived slightly late thanks to the bridge in work and our van being too wide!!
After we arrived Sophie met us and let us know the plan for our visit, Sophie was brilliant a very knowledgeable young lady who impressed us with lots of facts about the birds we did and did not fly with.
There is an old saying "Do not work with animals or children" and double so if it is a young owl called Taylor, who decided the best perch in the place was a tree 30 feet away, it was hilarious, Sophie and the rest of us trying to temp her back down.
The hawk was a marvelous looking bird we all took turns calling and having them land on our gloves.
Our tour afterwards was really good, the eagles, hawks raptors looks well, in spacious pens and responded to you walking around by chirping and bobbing Thier heads.
We also had two demo flights of the peregrine falcons . They are so fast only observing in the flesh can express how fast they are.
If you are thinking of going don't hesitate we all loved it from 9 to 78 perfect afternoon out, thanks again Sophie and the team at the centre!!

This was a fabulous experience for all of our extended family, four adults and children aged from 7, 9, 11, 12 and 16. Mandy our guide / expert was brilliant in delivering her talk to us all making sure that she talked to us at the appropriate level. She was incredibly knowledgable and experienced and clearly cares very strongly for the birds - the stars of the show!! We were able to hold five birds numerous times on our arms and learn about their particular tendencies and habits. The birds are beautiful and very well cared for and there is a huge variety to observe including fabulous eagles and owls. The kids were all engaged and we all came away learning new things and having a new respect for birds of prey.

My partner and I booked for the Owl Experience and it was so much more than either of us could have expected! Mandy was just the most loveliest, knowledgeable and caring guide we could have wanted, making the whole experience that much more special. And the owls… what can I say other than they are just beautiful creatures, each with their own little personality. Grace stole my heart though! We honestly can’t wait to go again. If you have even the smallest interest in birds of prey or owls, get booked up. You will not be disappointed!

We had a fantastic experience meeting three amazing owls (Heidi, Taylor and Louis) today learning all about them as well as many of the other birds 🦅 of prey at Falconry Days. In addition to this we also met the lovely dogs and ferrets onsite 😃. Sophie was our handler who demonstrated excellent knowledge and passion for her role; thank you Sophie.

This was a truly wonderful experience and well worth being off the beaten track a little bit for.
Arrived not quite knowing what to expect, but the friendly welcome from Anna, and the tribe of lovely dogs, put us at ease immediately.
The knowledge of falconry and obvious love for the birds was clear to see.
The Raptor Experience was worth every penny! Thank you!

I had an exceptional experience lasting five hours meeting many types of birds face to face.
The birds are magnificent and regal.
There are a various types of falcons and birds of prey. You get a hands-on experience with birds flying to your glove hand.
My guide was Anna whose knowledge and enthusiasm was endless. She is a walking encyclopaedia on birds of prey.

What a great thing to do. The birds are really well looked after by very knowledgeable staff. We saw around 60 happy and thriving birds of prey. Then we watched some being exercised and fed and could have them land on our arm.
Fascinating and informative. I would recommend booking a visit and the raptor experience.

We visited Falconry Days on Sunday morning and had an excellent visit. Mark and the team were extremely knowledgeable, amusing and friendly. The birds were fabulous and well cared for using scientific methods to keep the birds in tip-top condition. The flying experience was AMAZING!!

Bought a Mini Falconry experience for my husband. And what an experience it was. The 2 guides gave us all an informative tour & told us all about the variety of birds they care for & their habits & personalities. The experience went over the alloted time & was utterly amazing. As the observer I was enthralled by it all & was able to take pictures, ask questions & felt just as involved. This is an experience like no other & I am so glad that I purchased this. Well worth a visit.

What a wonderful experience! My granddaughter and I love owls and to have been able to be so close, flying and feeding them together was such a great and special moment. It’s a truly amazing place. The birds (and there are so many!) and their ‘personalities ‘ are remarkable. They are all clearly loved and well cared for. It is nothing like a Zoo! Truly!
Mandy has a wonderful approach, her interest and passion is infectious and her knowledge, second to none! It was simply fascinating.Think you so much. 😊

It was a silver wedding gift from our daughter and husband I think it was 89 pounds for over 2 hours and there was just 3 in the group

What facilities do you have ? Are there toilets and a cafe ?

Hi there are basic toilets but no cafe. There is however a kettle and the lovely people will make you Tea and Coffee. There are also chocolate bars for sale. This is set in a great place far from the crowds, a must see.
