From north shore we only walked a half mile of so back to Scalby. Stunning view but have to say disappointed with muddy path which does not compare to say the south west coastal path. Guess funding an issue but surely this could be laid...More

We only did a section of the 109 mile trail, between Staithes and Runswick Bay. Although the terrain was a little up and down at times it wasn`t too bad. Any hardship was more than counterbalanced by the stunning views along that stretch of coastline....More

We stayed in Robin Hoods Bay and only walked part of it, but we were talking to a couple who were walking an staying at different places. They had pre booked bed and breakfast along the way.

Scarborough would be a great base, loads of places to stay. Choose the North side of the resort. You can walk the section if Cleveland Way from Scalby Mills to Hayburn Wye Inn or Ravenscar if you are a good walker and return... More
