We did a circular walk from Burmaston that took in the Cleveland Way between there and Burmaston. It included a visit to Hayburn Wyke which with the waterfall, cliffs and beach has to be one of the highlights of the stretch of the Cleveland Way...More

Firstly, let me say something nice. The views were fabulous although I only saw them when I stopped walking because I had to be extremely careful of every step I took due to the mud, rocks, roots, etc. and had to look down at the...More

Started from Helmsley going to Filey. 100 out of the 110 miles were covered in mud that stuck to your boots making the stone steps very difficult to manage in either direction, up or down. Signs were not where you needed them, going straight there...More

This was a great 6 mile hike along the cliff seaside towns of Robin Hood Bay and Whitby. Make sure you bring water. You can take the walk one way and take a bus back for 8 pounds.

Visited this weekend and had a great time walking the moors and the coastal path on the cleveland way. The weather was glorious and the contrasting scenery breathtaking. From the heather to the sea. Gorgeous.

I only walked from Whitby to Staithes so about 13 miles on a very hot summer day Completely loved it and now want to do the whole thing, hopefully on a less sunny few days 🙂

I took a bus from Filey to Scarborough and started from there. A nice stroll through the city, up to the castle and back along the beach, via the beautiful old Spa building.

Honestly I would say it doesn't matter which way round you do it. Depends where you would like to finish.
