I've been to Ludorati a few times now and each time have enjoyed it immensely. There's a huge selection of games to choose from and the staff are more than happy to help when it comes to recommending games that you might enjoy. They also serve food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at reasonable prices. There's a dedicated room for escape rooms or some other activities that I haven't tried yet but it looks fun! Learning new games can be difficult and time consuming so my only recommendation is to have more demos for how the more complex games are played. A (potentially expensive) idea would be to have a fixed tablet/ipad on each table which has the catalogue of games stored within it along a few minutes demo on each for how to set up the game and how to play.

Ludorati is a very clean and spacious gaming cafe. The tables and chairs are comfortable and the game selection is wide. Didn't really try that many new games but revisited some old favourites which was lovely. A catalogue of game suggestions would be useful if you'd like to try new ones depending on the games you like eg. if you like monopoly, you might like these games... The price to play the games is justifiable, however, the membership card only offers 10% off bar food and drink which doesn't make much of an impact as I felt that these were overpriced for what was actually on offer. Staff were friendly though and left us to our own devices which was pleasant.

I enjoy board games and this place caught my eye when staying over the road at the Travelodge. Went to investigate and was warmly welcomed by the staff - I was on my own so a lovely staff member gave me a tour and said I was welcome to browse as long as I wanted. Got chatting to a meetup group who invited me for a game of Imhotep (none of us played before, but we all had a good time). It was a wonderful surprise visit - I was staying over for work so didn't expect an impromptu game night. The collection of games is impressive, and staff are very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend a visit if you like board games.

This is a good place to come for a bit of social fun with friends or family and is suitable for all ages. The cafe is clean, comfortable, has lots of games to choose from which are suitable for all ages and abilities and serves good quality drinks and food. The service is also good, friendly and attentive. If you don't want to play a game, it's still a good place to go for break with coffee and cake. I would definitely recommend this place and we'll be visiting it again this weekend.

Visited today for the first time, great cafe, lovely tea, joined in a group to play board games, really friendly people. Cosy and warm and welcoming. Didn't eat but food looked lovely. Masses of board games to try for all levels of ability. Will definately return.
