A 90 minute (approx) comedy and history walk around Nottingham in the company of 'The Sheriff'. A quirky mixture of facts and fun with some unbelievable trivia and truly terrible jokes! Beginning in June 2018, we have fast established ourselves as a great fun tour - come and find out for yourselves! We meet at the postbox outside The Bell Inn on Angel Row (Right by the Old Market Square). See the website for dates, times and prices!

A great afternoon, learning fun and interesting new facts about the city we have lived in all our lifes
The tour guide is lovely, made us laugh and involved everyone - we even managed a drink break too at a lovely little pub that we had not visited before.
Definitely recommend and excellent value for money👍 a lovely way to spend a couple of hours wandering around the city centre.

Don't delay. If you're thinking about taking this tour, do it. Entertaining, informative and unique. We had so much fun. Paul, what a top-notch lad. He made everyone feel included and at ease, showing as much interest in his guests as the topics he was presenting. Passionate about what he does, he really knows how to read a room 😉👍🏻 and seamlessly adjusts his content to suit every audience. You'll find yourself grinning every step of the way 😀. You'll see things things you wouldn't otherwise see and hear about things that the locals don't even know about...learning so much it's unbelievable! We were so engrossed, we forgot about the torrential rain 😀 Nottingham council REALLY needs to take note of what's on this tour! ...You'll know why when you take it 😉 Be prepared to meet some happy natives along the way and sample a drink with your host. In fact, our guide was so nice that when we explained that our original reason for being in the area was cancelled (consequently, we we stuck for something to do that evening), he took us on a pub crawl and we had a curry together! Boss! Bangin'! Safe! Tidy! 🤣 So, not just a walking tour, but an awesome night out to boot. So, so, SO glad that we chose Nutty Nottingham as an activity. I'm completely blown away by the experience. THANKS PAUL 😀😀😀

We had a lot of fun on this tour. My husband and I enjoyed it and our 14;year old son was entertained too (no mean feat.) We all learned a lot of history, unusual and fascinating facts, and the jokes were good too. Highly recommended!

We had visited the City of Nottingham a few days before and really liked it we also visited one of the attractions the 'City of Caves', which was great. Afterwards we thought we would like to learn more about the city and see more of it.
This tour seemed to be an ideal way to achieve this. We were not disappointed, in fact the tour exceeded our expectations. The 'Sherriff' was a friendly, knowledgeable character and very amusing, his background in stand up comedy was evident.
The tour had a good balance of walking, talking and places of interest to see, the time passed very quickly, some of Nottingham's hidden gems were revealed. The information given was useful as well as interesting and helpful for future visits to the City. We certainly hope to be back again.

What a fabulous tour. My wife and I met at college in Nottingham in the early 70s so have lived here and been together for getting on 50 years but Paul taught us loads that we didn't know about our home city and with great bonhomie and humour along the wayl We were the only 2 who had booked, yet he was still happy to do it. And don't believe it's 90 minutes. He treated us to 2 hours and 15 minutes of great fun and interest and it would probably have run to 3 or 4 hours had we not had cinema tickets booked. Thanks so much, Paul. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Although we have lived in Nottingham most of our lives, my friend & I booked on this tour as something different to do! There were only 4 of us on the tour(the other 2 were from Scotland! ) but we had a great time - went to parts the city we hadn't been to for ages, learnt a few bits of Nottingham history we hadn't known or had forgotten - the jokes were terrible! 😂 but Paul was great - coped tremendously with my friends banter - he had decided to make her his deputy after all! Highly recommend you book this for a different afternoon out!

We had a great time on the walking tour with The Sheriff, his deputy and her friend who were also locals and full of banter!
We learned a lot of fun & interesting things about Nottingham and saw places we probably never would have stumbled across.
Brilliant way to spend a couple of hours whilst having a laugh at The Sheriffs funny stories - he’s a very witty guy.

Hollywood has got it wrong The Sheriff of Nottingham is one of the good guys!
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour , a great afternoon spent in the company of Paul.
If you thought you knew Nottingham, think again the tour more facts than you can shake a stick at .
I'd highly recommend this trip ! You will enjoy yourselves !
