- Aaron F2 contributionsGreat day out at the mazeWhat an aMAZEing day trip this was! I went here with a few friends today and spent well over 2 hours in the maize maze. There's so many great games and activities you can do in the maze and for such a cheap price. All topped off with a cold pint of beer! Great staff, great cafe/bar on site and will defiantly be coming back in the next few months.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 26 July 2023
- Tracy Davidson1 contributionGood value for moneyHad a really great time here with older children. Really good welcome from staff. Maze was a good 2 hours with plenty to do and games around the maze. Make sure you take wellies or waterproof shoes as you get very muddy. Little outdoor cafe/bar reasonable prices. Lots of outdoor spaceVisited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 27 July 2023
- BeckyNottingham, United Kingdom7 contributionsMaize maze experienceGreat location to meet with friends! We did the maze and ended up having to use the map to find all of the game bits, so that she sheet wasn’t empty! Bonus that you can enter as many times as needed, so you can have breaks in between. It was a fun and completely different day out. Will definitely be visiting again!Visited July 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 28 July 2023
- Neil J BCrewe, United Kingdom204 contributionsBrilliant fun activity. We went to the Archery experience here. Very well organised and well instructed, by Michelle who was very helpful and made it a great experience in horrible wet weather. Great fun to do, and easier than I thought it would be thanks to the instructor. Only small groups take part at once, which adds to the fun. Also helps with the instructions.Visited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 13 August 2023
- chris mUnited Kingdom4 contributionsGreat afternoon worth a tryWe decided this was the place for our second wedding anniversary. We chose the axe and knife throwing and also the air rifles. What a great experience we had Larry was our instructor on the knives and axes and he was great, a good laugh and a good instructor we had a great time. Only bit of criticism is that the axe would hit correctly and just bounce out. Maybe a different wood or other type of board would benefit as it was annoying. Next up was air rifles with Michelle she was awesome the rifles were great nothing bad to say. My wife discovered she really enjoyed it alot more then she originally thought when planning and to our surprise she was really good at it. Drinks at cafe are really well priced and next time I'm having a coffee. We will no doubt be back soon and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try something new Great work guys.Visited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 13 August 2023
- AnneHucknall, United Kingdom2 contributionsFantastic timeWe had a great time in the maize, best idea took walkie talkies so the little people could chat. Collected all the clues and scarecrows and completed the crossword. What a great time had by all and would recommend. Our age range was from 3 to 66 so all ages. Only one who got lost was grandma but found eventually. For a different day out head to the maizeVisited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 August 2023
- OyesolaWest Bridgford, United Kingdom1,066 contributionsLovely day out, must visit, fun for kidsLovely day out at the maze with two teenagers and two adults. We paid £1 for a map and we were going to get the £1 back if the map wasn't opened but my daughter opened it almost immediately. Even with the map, we got lost and couldn't find our way out. If we had more than enough time, maybe we would have tried harder but I have a bad knee so I couldn't walk too much with my walking stick. There were puzzles for the kids to solve and quite a few places in there where one could sit and rest a bit. We eventually found the entrance and that's where we took out lol. Next time we will go more early and try to conquer the maze. I love that it has places to take pics. The also have other activities there so I wish to return and partake of those. All in all it was a fun day out. Must do if you're in the areaVisited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 21 August 2023
- Scott J1 contributionTruly awesome night, spooky and eerieI work for NCC youth service abd as part of our HAF delivery for October half term We went to the dead silent halloween event at notts maze, all I can say is even though it was very muddy the event was awesome and the mud actually added to the experience. All the kids absolutely were blown away and we're scared out their wits, the mist added a real spooky feel. Taking more young people next year we'll with itVisited October 2023Travelled on businessWritten 31 October 2023

It is the end of October in a field with a live crop, so we were well prepared! Loads of actors, friendly staff and bonus food was there for afterwards. Worth the money- local too so no ridiculous costs for travel.Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 1 November 2023

It was an amazing experience overall and really fun, the setting in the dark with the fog rolling through the maze actually made it! The staff were extremely nice and helpful and the actors were great! Especially one who was dressed as a clown with a cricket bat! Amazing acting!!! 5/5

We recently visited the scare maze during halloween and have to say it was terrifyingly good!
It is set on a huge corn field and was themed as a silent and dark maze. Well this just added to the scare factor, as it was dark and so so so quiet, it was like being in your own horror movie walking down dead ends being jumped out on from scare actors hiding in the corn and sneeking up on you without you knowing.
All the scare actors were amazing and really did make it feel authentic and geniune. Hosts were really friendly too and informative. I have read a few reviews with people crticizing how muddy it was which I think is unfair as we were briefed days before we were due to come and were told to wear wellies or walking boots and to expect it to be muddy. Plus we had assumed it would be muddy due to it being an outdoor event in a corn maze and after lots rainfall.
To end this is a 10 out of 10 scare maze! A MUST GO! Its local, its great value for money and its very, very scary

We attended the Labyrinth Scare Maze event and it was fantastic, despite the weather and conditions.
The actors were fantastic and did well to stay in character and endure the elements, we had some proper frights during our exploration of the maze.
I'm not which even the other reviewers attended and how they missed the rest of the scare cast, we bumped into well over 20 different actors, some were static in certain areas whilst others roamed and stalked through the maze.
Regarding the mid, this was and understandably a sticking point, literally, but using sensible footwear and common sense made it a relatively easy walk round, considering the point of the theme was it was silent and in the dark, not bringing a torch of being prepared for this despite it being advertised, would just be a mistep on some of the other attendees part.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was great and so were the scarers, hope next year is a dryer one, will definitely come again and we highly recommend, just keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately!

Don’t normally do reviews but after the dangerous event (31/10/23) I really felt I had to just to warn others about the scar maze…
After the recent rain (obviously it would be a muddy) but no way was myself or my group prepared for the dangerous maze!!! We all had welly’s on as advised but the ground was just so bad it made very little difference at all….
For health & safety reasons they should have cancelled the event or at least put something like straw over the paths, all they cared about was making money at the risk of paying customers…
Very poor lighting (understand this as to set the mood) but just can’t describe just how muddy the walkway was and having to use a phone light just for safety.
As for the live actors we actually didn’t see many at all (4/5 maybe) but we only stayed 40mins because how bad the maze was, happy to actually get out without serious injuries, a staff member asked if we enjoyed it on exit and told them honestly NO it’s just to muddy and they agreed.

Notts Maze labyrinth was just awful!
Was really looking forward to it all day, I even booked off an annual leave day at work for this.
It was not scary at all!
It was advised that this was only suitable for people over the age of 14 and that anyone between the age of 14 - 17 have to have an 18 year old with them so you think, yay, this is going to be absolutely amazing…. Really scary and lots of fun! But it just didn’t turn out that way.
It was extremely dangerous due to deep mud everywhere when all the establishment needed to really do was either cancel the event or throw down some gravel to soak up the really bad areas. A bit of common sense.
People were sliding and falling all over the place even in wellies and that’s including the three actors that we saw in the maze!
It was just crazy. We saw quite a few people in the maze and most of the people that we saw were desperate to get out due to how bad the mud was.
So the verdict of this Halloween event:
1 - No real scares as no actors about really.
2 - Extremely dangerous for everyone there.
3 - The biggest waste of money ever!
WILL NEVER DO AGAIN!
The highlight of the night:
Getting out, it was just so boring!
Most ridiculous, boring horror maze ever, I actually do not know how they have the audacity to call this a horror maze!
For anybody who loves horror and scary things, I would NEVER recommend this!

What a great afternoon - conditions underfoot were really muddy after all the recent rain but it didn’t spoil our fun, finding clues and solving puzzles. We walked over 5k in the end!
