This, the Carrington Crawl, is the second of Lucy's Watson Fothergill walks I have been on. Both have been fascinating and inspiring. She has done a great deal of research on an undeservedly ignored local architect. Her walks are well balanced and not too long, with a suitable refreshment stop at the end. Lucy is engaging with a real knowledge of her subject and on both occasions I have come away with a much better appreciation of the buildings of my city.

A great way to spend 2 hours wandering around Nottingham discovering more about some of its architectural gem. Lucy’s obvious enthusiasm for the subject made the experience enjoyable & entertaining (even despite the wet weather) 😀

A fantastic and hugely informative walk around some of Fothergill's most famous buildings in central Nottingham. This was an easy-paced walk with a lovely cuppa and cake thrown in at the end (at Debbie Bryan's shop) to celebrate Fothergill's birthday. I have recommended this walk many times to other friends and family and I think it would appeal to anyone with even a passing interest in the glorious buildings of our city of Nottingham. I hope to go on the TC Hines walk (also by Lucy) at some point this year!
