The shop was more interesting than the museum. The visit was very quick as there was not much to see and study, apart for the two films on show - the mechanical looms one was interesting. No sense to the visit. We had to go through a very dark room to go to the next room (we only saw the... More

I visited today with a friend for lunch and had a great time. Please see my photos. The lamb madras was excellent. I had a look at the crazy golf and it's very well done. Thanks.

We went for 'Doug Fishbone's Leisure Land Golf' as we were intrigued by the unique combination of contemporary art and crazy golf - and we loved both. Very cheerful and helpful staff. The wee man was very pleased to get on the leader board.

We are always on the search for different crazy golf courses - and this was well worth the visit - with a twist. Very pleasant and helpful staff - even if one did nearly lose her head from a ricochet from a rock on the very first hole. Get down soon - it closes in June. Very cheap as well.

At the front of this arts venue in the heart of one of Nottingham's vibrant multicultural areas is this excellent cafe. I love the interesting menu which tempts me back - I only wish I lived closer. Today I choose the tasty jacket potato with saag paneer, which was generously sized and came with an interesting salad (more than a... More

I am never disappointed with the exhibitions at the NAE. They are well-chosen and brilliantly curated. It's in the heart of vibrant, diverse Hyson Green, it's handy for the tram from the city centre and it has a very nice cafe.

I visited the gallery during the launch day of Doug Fishbone leisure land golf. The leisure land golf is impressive and you can spend a great time if you like playing golf only for £2 per person until June. The gallery staff was friendly, kind and helpful. The cafe inside is great and generally, you can combine arts with a... More

This is a quality venue that has displays that relate to the daily life of folk in the locality. They do not attempt to be over elaborate but express the hopes and aspirations of ordinary folk. There is opportunity for local talent and the cafe is brilliant.

Love the cafe. Inexpensive. Comfy sofas. Unpressurised leisurely visits can be enjoyed. Tasty, interesting food. We visit again and again.
