Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ade Andrews was our Robin Hood who was fantastic in imparting knowledge about Robin Hood as well as the town of Nottingham. He was very kind and patient with our group and adjusted his speed to meet the needs of the retirees in our group. Our GPS took our group a half mile in the wrong direction therefore we were late. He was very understanding and met us at a location familiar to us. He was very generous with his time still giving us the full half day tour. It was a great and enjoyable way to see the town of Nottingham.

We got a great history lesson. It was real and captivating. It was like having a look at the city with the real Robin Hood. We saw places and heard stories we would not have heard otherwise.

Had amazing time walking through Nottingham on this tour. He was very knowledgeable and had great funny quips about the history of Nottingham and Robin Hood. He also gave great suggestions of places to eat and drink around the town. Would definitely recommend this tour if you find yourself in the area.

Im a huge fan of the walking tour and have done countless, but none of them as good as Ezekial Bone's Robin Hood. Hugely entertaining, witty, revelatory and engaging, the whole group left having learned so much about Nottingham and Robin Hood. Highly recommended.

Robin Hood (aka Ade) is a first rate historical narrator and actor. And he’s full character as Robin Hood - both the one of legend and as a cultural crusader of today! He brings the Nottingham he loves to life revealing it’s forgotten history from the Vikings to the lace makers of the 19th Century and down to today. No visit to Nottingham is complete without experiencing his ‘performance’.

Every 5 star rating is well deserved, this is THE thing to do in Nottingham. Even if you're just passing through, take two hours and join.

We absolutely loved this walking tour - part history, part folklore, part pints - this is an incredibly well crafted experience that will immerse you fully in the history of Robin Hood.

It would be incredibly easy for the city to give in to over priced kitsch, but not here. Ezekiel is a true historian and storyteller who has crafted a fascinating insight into how Nottingham and Robin came to be. Along the way, you'll visit the sites mentioned in the legends, as well as hear more about the history of this great city all told by someone who cares deeply about the subject and is also, it must be said, hilarious. He IS Robin Hood.

At the end, when you're having your pint far down in the caves, you'll be left to decide who this legendary figure was and is. It's a remarkable experience and one I've never seen anywhere else.

We loved it so much, we are hoping to return and take Ezekiel's other tours. There's no touristy, corny, stuff here - just good history and fascinating story telling. Incredible.

This was a fantastic afternoon, despite the rain! We learned so much and Robin entertained us and kept our attention for the whole time. Brilliant to hear all the social history and modern day comparisons. Well worth the money and would definitely recommend those visiting and locals!

If you ever visit Nottingham I highly recommend you get on a tour with Ezekial Bone ( a.k.a "Robin Hood" 🏹 ) We joined him (a week last Thursday) on his tour of the Lace Market area of Nottingham which included a stop at St. Mary's Church where one of the original medieval ballads called Robin Hood and the Monk was said to have occurred. The talk and debate about the origins of Robin Hood was excellent.
The tour also took you through the history of the origins of the Nottingham lace market.

Ezekiel Bone aka Robin Hood is an excellent guide, entertainer and historian!
His knowledge is wide ranging and in-depth giving him the ability to adapt to the interests of the group. He is witty, and provides a theatrical atmosphere for the tour. We would highly recommend it.
