One of the most beautiful churches in Nottingham in my opinion is St Nicholas Church ( St Nic's Church ) ,a wonderful looking church ,Grade II listed and built between 1671- 78 ,such an evocative looking church but what I love about this church is the wonderful grounds that surround the church, I find it fascinating looking at the ancient tombstones and grave markers ,a clear indication about the age of this church, if your in the area its a church and church grounds that I highly recommend you visit, easy to locate along Maid Marian Way.
