The theatre puts on some great stuff but the tiers in the circle are SO steep, and the seats are so close together, do not book the circle if you are prone to vertigo!

Visited Nottingham Playhouse this weekend for the first time in order to see 'The Madness Of King George.' A beautiful theatre with plenty of leg-room in the seating and very comfortable seats. We were in the second row of the circle and the view was...More

A great venue offering a wide range of plays, suiting all ages. Entertainment varies from traditional classic plays to comedy solos, from dance to ballet. Discussions are available for certain plays to talk about the production. We saw Kindergarten - a gripping play based on...More

Attended to see Sweet Charity, but what a surprise at the interval when the bar was closed. It was a matinee performance, but really the main bar should have been open. I really didn't want to have to go to Cast, which would have been...More

The show is truly spectacular with wonderful set design, choreography, musicians and cast. There was a technical mishap in the first act which lasted 10 to 15 minutes. This was handled very professionally by the Theatre staff. The chorus are excellent with a range of...More

Popped to see Sweet Charity after seeing an advert with Rebecca Trehearn. The show was great and the leads both great. Would definitely recommend the show and keep my eyes out for other upcoming performances at the Playhouse.

We have been coming here for many years and every year the whole family comes to watch the brilliant pantomime they put on. I would highly recommend the pantomime for the all the family to enjoy!

The Playhouse is a true joy - the seats are comfortable, adequate leg room and not too close to the person in the next seat. The acoustics are good as is the vision of the main stage. It makes a great venue to spend times...More

I've seen 1984 and No Such Thing as a Fish here. The place is plush and comfy and I'm constatly keeping an eye out for what's on next. Put it like this, 1984 was some pretty amateur fare but I was so damned comfortable I...More

Hi, central seats are the best. Aisle seats if you can. No bad seats in the house though
