I've seen 1984 and No Such Thing as a Fish here. The place is plush and comfy and I'm constatly keeping an eye out for what's on next. Put it like this, 1984 was some pretty amateur fare but I was so damned comfortable I...More

I live in Nottingham and this theatre is just down the road so I go to most productions. Recent shows (Wonderland, Our Country's Good, Holes, The Last Ship) have been outstanding. My only gripe is the price of wine!

Went today to see The Last Ship, very good. Class war, union management war, us and them, love story, great music and death. Powerful political statement at the end. Worth seeing. Nice theatre and location. Will go again

We only visited here for a quick beer on route to concert hall next door. The bar doesn’t have a lot of seating but it’s got a decent range of beers.

Excellent venue in easy walking distance from city centre and public transport, including trams. Uniquely designed seating structure allowing a good view wherever you sit. Great range of dramas, dance, music and comedy amongst other things, available throughout the year. Went to see Mark Steele...More

We’ve been coming to the Playhouse panto for 30 years and were disappointed this year. Perhaps it was because it is after the new year, the audience was much smaller, but the cast seemed to be going through the motions at times. We got the...More

No dress code so if you have not been to the theatre before do not be intimidated by feeling you have to dress up. That said, its always good to make something of the occasion so "smart casual" should suffice. Personally I... More
