They kicked out my drunk friend, fair enough. Got him an Uber back etc. Tried to get back in and been declined because I’ve been kicked out? I just made sure my friend had an Uber back home so I walked outside with him. This...More

Never had a bad night out in rock city. The perfect place to end a night out in Nottingham regardless of your music taste so don’t let the name make your mind up. Multiple rooms, something for everyone and a great, busy atmosphere with lots...More

Went to see two bands. I went on my own, and as a woman I felt safe going on my own. I stood happily near the front, wasn’t too crowded, and other people were just as friendly. Security are good and very observant, making sure...More

Went to see the magnificent John Grant supported by the impressive EB The Younger and I was seeing my first ever gig at Rock City...great viewing venue in spite of the toilets and general standing area being a bit “sticky”...

We saw white lies here, love this place for a venue, the sound is good. It was easy to get drinks at bar during the gig too.

At Rock City, wearing a baseball cap (or any head gear) isn't a problem. However, should you decide to venture into the town centre, many places have some sort of dress code for the night-time.

There’s a few seats upstairs at the back but you can’t see the stage from them, aside from that there isn’t. I think if someone is disabled you can phone ahead and they might put a seat at the front upstairs.
