I visited new years eve and the tour of this historic building in Nottingham was very good and very informative. It was very interesting to see the old court room and then have a look around the old jail. The jail is very eerie and it is very hard to imagine anyone every surviving or living here, as conditions are... More

We visited the Galleries of Justice this week and we were not disappointed. Our visit was on a quiet Wednesday morning, so we were the only ones on the tour at 10:30am, but the guide was fantastic; I didn't manage to catch his name, but he was super friendly and informative and I'm sure he said he used to work... My five year old and myself visited the Galleries of Justice this week. The tour guide (wench) was fabulous and terrifying at the same time. She kept the whole group of people entertained with her tales of hangings and prison life. My son loved finding out what crimes he had committed and we were even locked up. The second half... More

Words really don't do the Galleries of Justice- well- er Justice!! I genuinely love this place- the building is in one of my favourite places in Britain- Nottingham's Lace Market.... but the building itself is so very interesting- and then you do inside and find just what goodies there are to offer. Law and order- gruesome pasts, ghosts and stories... More

The Galleries of Justice tour offers a unique almost hands-on tour. You learn about the history of the justice system in England, and the types of punishments for different crimes in the olden days. As part of the tour you are assigned a role in a court scene and the tour group acts out a trial that occured. You are... More

Absolutely faultless was our guide Hannah, she was passionate, knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic! An amazing and beautiful building with strong and very interesting history. We did the 1.5hr tour. We will be back on a special event night I am sure. Well done! Thank you & Happy New Year!

Visited this as a combined ticket with Caves. Conducted tour was entertaining and informative. We spent a couple of hours in here and was not at all disappointed. Took advise from their website and parked in the Stoney Street car park. Discounted parking from £18 to £6.50 and was in easy reach of both attractions and the town centre. Would... More

Had our office Christmas party this year and loved every minute of it. All staff were fab and the Sheriff of Nottingham was great. Food was great and entertainment was great. The actual place itself was amazing and we got a full tour. Highly recommended.

I have been here a few times, for the actual museum and for the fright night! Both were very different experiences and good in different ways! Very educational and the fright night was a lot of fun, however it was over quite quickly.
