Enjoyed our time here perhaps not somewhere for young children as the first part of the tour was guided, informative and fun for us but the younger members of the group were getting a bit tetchy.

An easy walk from the train station. Buy the combo ticket with City of Caves to save a little money. It's easy to do both in a half day. You might want to book both tours in advance to maximize time. The docents at the Galleries make the tour so fun and interesting --especially the "gaoler". Take your jacket on... More

We had family visiting from abroad and we decided to buy the joint city caves and galleries of justice ticket. So glad we did! Although living in Nottingham we had never actually visited the galleries before. We really enjoyed it and found it fun and educational. You need to book in a tour time slot so make sure to plan... Was a fun and interesting trip with a great performance from our guide. Definitely worth a visit! Add to it too a trip around the caves and it makes for a good few hours!

The guide on our tour was good and even in wet and freezing weather made it worth going. Would suggest going on a dry day as some of it is outside and open to weather.

This was our second trip to the Galleries of justice. It was my birthday and somewhere I've enjoyed very much before. We opted for the audio guides. The whole place is so very interesting. There is so much to see. We took about an hour to go around but you could easily take much longer. There are many interactive parts... More

There has so many things to learn in the past historical of prison. It also can compare with the present prison environment. The Youth Court is a good place to experience the whole process of criminal justice system.

In addition to the daytime tours, there are a number of extra tours. We went on one which started in daylight and finished after dark, and there was no one else on site. So adds to the drama and atmospherics. One lady was scared a couple of times. Well worthwhile.
