I never tire of this place, I have done some of my best thinking walking round this oasis. Normally my thinking is done in a pub, but if the problem is massive, and alcohol won't help, I walk round the lake until it is. Love the place, and so thankful to the council for continuing to fund this piece of... More

This is really good. especially with children. You only pay to park, the there are miles of walks, plenty of spaces for games, and places to explore - also see the ducks on the lake, and the deer that roam around the park. The hall is very interesting to visit, - the old fashioned stuffed animals have been there for... More

However the rooms generally open free to the public are extremely interesting with many unusual artefacts and items to view. Some rare and quite surprising items are displayed. The building is truly impressive standing as it does... More

A wonderful place at all times of the year, the gardens and lake make walking a delight, plenty of space for children to run and the long slope is perfect for sledging when snow falls

We were visiting the grandkids and decided to go for a walk through the grounds. The grounds are extensive and the building is remarkable. I believe it was used as Wayne Manor in a Batman movie. There is a large lake. It was cold but the children enjoyed it.

Great open space, used and accessed by all. From fitness mornings and marathon route to leisurely walks, feeding the ducks and being mesmerised by the deer, Wollaton Hall really gives back to those who visit. The kids can run round the play area and fun park, then unwind and learn about the wonders of natural history inside the hall -... More

Wollaton is a nice park to spend an afternoon for the whole family, you can visit the historic hall and walk the park. There is plenty of space for picnics and for children to play.
