Paid for deposit for 10 of us, 100 balls each to start plus if you buy extra 200 balls you get another 100 free straight away except when they give you the 200 balls in your hopper to start it is actually 100. Free light meal is a sausage roll lol. They under charge the guns so your balls fall short so you fire more balls to try and hit something. Guns are then charged conveniently for the fort which is a total waste of time because once the game is won which is early on they let you carry on wasting ammo so you have to buy more for the last 2 games RIP OFF, don’t check the website for standard prices it will @%*+ you off. There’s one guy there short stumpy fellow with a ultra bad attitude needs a lesson in manners and customer service Total fool.

VERY VERY expensive We had a full day vip package which gives you 100 paintballs included per person (if you are going for a full day then this is NOWHERE near enough! To be fair, when you go paint balling you expect to have to spend a bit on paintballs. We took a party of 13 and in order to buy each member 500 balls it cost £360 Lunch was a sausage roll not very VIP!! Half our group was on one team and half was on another which at first seemed ok until you realise that you are then mixed in with 3 other groups! Part of the enjoyment of paintballing is knowing who you are shooting and working as a team....if you are mixed in with mostly strangers and shooting mostly strangers then the fun is reduced somewhat! When I asked if we could all be on The same team in the afternoon a Marshall had to ‘go check’, and I was told that they couldn’t be bothered to sort this out! We rebought ANOTHER 5000 paintballs for the second half so have in total spent over £700, the games were average, certainly not as good as SKIRMISH also in Sherwood Forest. You can’t shoot someone closer than 5m but when this invariably happens in the heat of battle the marshalls have no idea if the person shot is out or not! Towards the end one Marshall told us “I don’t want to be here, please hurry up so I can go home”! I bought 200 paintballs for the last game SIGH and when clearing up we found 400 sealed paintballs from our group that someone had tucked away. Taking these back to the counter and expecting a refund I was told that they don’t refund on paintballs as they have no idea where they have come from and they might be spoiled (despite the fact that they are branded!) I was offered a carrier bag for them and was told that if I come again I won’t be allowed to use them! I told the owner that I won’t be returning and popped the paintballs down which were scooped up and putting with the new paintballs for resale!!! WOW!

We went on a hen day to Force 10, we registered and were inducted which was informative as we had never been paint balling before. The equipment was supplied which consisted of overalls, body armor, face mask and gun. The overalls were well worn and some of the buttons were missing but they covered your clothes, I was a little unsure of the face mask as it didn't protect your head. Even though you were told head shots didn't count that doesn't mean you aren't going to get shot in the head!! One of our party was shot in the side of the face (her mask was on at all times!), I just felt the masks were a little inadequate. The game themselves were OK, certainly they could be a little more entertaining, especially the game in which you have to collect the gold bars. That game really is pointless, you have zero chance of collecting a bar, you should remove the bars that go across the shacks to allow people to run across the game zone, otherwise all that happens is you get stuck in one corner and cannot move :-( The marshals are OK and try to keep watch on what is happening but on 2 separate occasions another teams member removed his face mask, he walked the full length of the game zone and not 1 marshal saw him without his mask off! Now I know it his own risk taking off the mask but my point is if the marshals are supposed to be keeping watch they aren't exactly doing a great job! I just felt the whole outfit was a little amateurish but it could be a really good location to go. I would not recommend this paint-balling experience
