- SpinksCambridge, United Kingdom114 contributionsOne visit is all you need but expect to queueGreat place, nice views. Not that Mr C would care as the £££ is rolling in but the queue is massive and takes an age to go through. We got there at opening time and the queue must have already been 30-40mtrs long, god knows what time people get there. That said it does so slow through the shop you end up buying lots ;-)Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 October 2023
- TylerluBella Vista, Arkansas224 contributionsFun morningWe enjoyed ourselves very much. We knew it would be busy but got there about an hour after opening and I think that we timed it well. The initial rush had moved through and we only waited in like about 15-20 min or so. Had a snack and a cider in the sheep barn next door and it was good. It was fun to see what we had been watching online.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 October 2023
- KateCornwall, United Kingdom120 contributionsDSFSLoved it! Remembering that is a farm shop, in the countryside and was never meant to be something of a spectacle for travellers and fans. It’s rustic and full of small and unique offerings - pricey, yes but all farm shops are… 100% recommend.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 19 October 2023
- Teithiwr26Welshpool, United Kingdom71 contributionsA Diddly nice visitLovely visit to the Diddly Squat Farm Shop on a Saturday morning in mid October. Only a small queue and we were inside the shop in no time. The shop is smaller than I expected but there is a one way system in operation which works well. Would highly recommend the pork pies and sausage rolls. We then went around the corner to the barn for a coffee and bacon sandwich, which was top notch. Great views around the back as well. The place has a nice feel to it. A nice stop off if you are travelling from the Broadway area to Blenheim Palace.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 22 October 2023
- Beth17 contributionsReally lovely, glad we wentSuch a fun little putting after watching the programme. We arrived at 11am on a Wednesday morning And it was just starting to get busy. The car park isn’t all that big and the overflow is a field and muddy so wear boots. We queued for 15 minutes to get into the little farm shop, unless you really want to buy something then prob not worth queuing for, but we wanted some of the larger. Then sitting with a drink and a must have burger looking at the view was gorgeous. Glad we went, I feel it’s a must if you’re in the area.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 26 October 2023

Yes it isn’t cheap, but the produce is local and is very busy nonetheless. We bought a couple of items and also had a drink in the bar, where the Hawkstone Lager is to be recommended. - Glenn P9 contributionsWorth a visit / Ideal if your camping nextdoorHi, Both my wife and I visited the farm shop as we were camping next door. The main reason for us camping in Chipping Norton was to visit the farm shop. It's worth a visit if you're nearby to say you have been. Some items are a bit on the expensive side but you have to remember it's a famous farm shop owned and operated by a famous person. All in all it's worth a drive out if you haven't been. 🙂👍Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 October 2023

But staff were friendly! Round the back there was a bar and food van with some little independent stalls selling their items. We arrived early in the morning so there wasn’t a need to queue. But a bucket list destination now tickedWorth a visit if you are passing, and why not. Love him or not he’s a success in whatever he does. And I just loved this farming story and have a greater appreciation for this more humble, not a know it all side of Jeremy. Sort the pot holes out in the car park Jerri- for someone who values cars, those pot holes today were mad! Filled with rain we had no idea how deep they were. Glad to see you had clean toilets too. The farm shop was well stocked and the chutneys were tasty, glad you had samples. Granted when we came there were no queues but you are only going to go to help make this a bigger success and help it thrive and survive. After watching the show on Amazon and having a staycation booked to Cotswold we planned to visit the farm when we realised it was only 30 minutes away from where we are staying. 45 minutes to queue for pop up shop which was fine but what isn’t fine is when you get to the front there are no prices on items and then being charged £30 odd for a pot of honey, tea towel and cup then when asked if a bag is included or to add a bag on the price goes up to over £50!!! £19 for a shopping bag. You feel daft after queuing up for so long to then ask prices or even not buy anything but suppose that’s why he does it.
It nice to say I’ve been but honestly it’s day light robbery! £12.50 for a pot of honey, it makes it worse when you watch the show and even Lisa says you can’t charge over £5 for a pot of honey! Now he’s charging double that! It’s a joke, if there were prices and weren’t a really long queue I wouldn’t have bought anything! You expect things to be expensive but that’s a joke!
Jeremy wasn’t any where to be seen, Lisa arrived to stock the shop up but it would have been nice for him to make an appearance as everyone is there to see him essentially and it’s only open a couple of days a week.

If you enjoyed watching Clarkson’s Farm then visiting this place is quite frankly ‘genius’.
Yes, it is very very busy and yes, it is expensive, however the atmosphere was fantastic. The food and drink to consume on site is of a reasonable price. From the experience that we had, including seeing the farming in action and Lisa grafting on the pop up stand, it was like a calm, family friendly festival vibe.
The queue for the shop was 2.5 hours and the pop up shop was 1 hour. We didn’t go in because any merch can also be ordered online. At the back of the shop is an open air bar selling refreshments and it has small food menu. We were served in less than 30 minutes for 4 drinks and 2 Butties. We had a fab time chatting with other Clarksonites and soon realized that there was no shame in being excited over a giant tractor with Caleb as entourage, appearing, then vanishing into the horizon. It is a common ground that united complete strangers.
In truth, to see the farm and the shop in full swing was heartwarming. From the car park attendants, the bar staff and the farm celebs in action, there was an inspirational work ethic to anyone and everyone. People need to understand just how hard work running a farm actually is. Every successful business needs a UPS it just so happens this one is a massive tractor. If people don’t want to stay and queue then it is free to arrive and free to leave. Signage is clear and on our visit parking was well supervised. I hope that Diddly Squat farm has a successful future and continues to support the local community.

How on earth this attracts people God knows!! Squat must refer to the extremely small shop with very little in it. Ok if you are willing to pay £20 for a tiny tin candle which reads ' this smell of my bollocks!'. Pork pie £7, milk bottle and milk together cost £7..Clarkson must be busting a gut laughing at the fools queueing to get in. 3 small family groups at a time will tell you how TINY this shack is. Outrageous to expect people to queue in the bitter cold windswept muddy field to get into a very disappointing shop!! First time visit because my grandaughter wanted to go and definitely the last. I noticed people who came out of the shop has very little in the way of a purchase and I am not surprised. If i can give any advice it would be DON'T go and save your money and energy,

We had travelled from Scotland on a break to Torquay so decided to drop by on our return leg home. It happened to to be the Saturday after the show landed on Amazon so the car park and verge on the road outside the shop was full of cars. It took us at least an hour in the queue to get in and a lot of the things on sale were overpriced, especially the farm merchandise. Despite this I had to have a couple of Jeremy's uniquely scented candles!
The weather was so sunny and hot we headed round to the lambing shed, ordered some drinks and slow cooked brisket in a bun with coleslaw and chilli mayonnaise which was very tasty indeed. Thoroughly recommended.
Once we'd had our fill, we were just on our way out the gate when the man himself arrived in his Range Rover, so I was able to say hi and get a selfie. He couldn't have been more accommodating and, having been a fan of Jeremy since watching old school Top Gear with Quentin, Tiff (who I've also met on a couple of occasions) and others, this totally made my day.
The main reason to go is obviously to see the location of Clarkson's Farm, more than the produce itself. If you are a fan of any of Jeremy's shows, especially the Farm then, if you can manage it, I'd say go. You may be disappointed with the shop, maybe not, but the food was really good. There was also Jeremy's Jeep to check out from the Grand Tour. From what I have seen on the shop's Facebook page there have been other Grand Tour cars there too. Several visitors seem to bring along their expensive sports and supercars and seems to be a destination for the occassional car club. Had I not met Jeremy I dare say I would have rated it as average.

My kids really wanted us to detour to see Clarksons farm shop, we all loved the series.
The traffic was ok as the end of the day. Half an hour queue to the stall selling merchandise (farm shop itself closes 4.20pm, as advised by security guards!)
'cow juice' dispenser runs 24hrs I understand.
Stall sells massively expensive stuff (candles £23, cotton shopping bag £20, honey about £13, etc) so didn't bother. No prices listed at stall so counting on people queuing for ages then obliged to buy at whatever price - not good practice. Just had a look round. Lambing shed now a cafe, nice outlook onto fields.
A complete rip off and not worth driving far to visit - but we were happy to see the film 'set' as on our way. Jeremy must be making a packet from it - definitely not 'diddly squat'!!

We love JC, we really do, but this place doesn't do his name justice or credit. First the 'shop' itself is only just bigger than my garden shed. So, with Covid restrictions there are stringent limits applied to the number of people inside. When we were there we couldn't be bothered to queue- too many people. The portloos provided in the lambing barn are disgusting - one didn't have any water and stank. The rustic bar was ok and the barman friendly and polite. The food from the food van was delicious and again the people were lovely, however the prices were too high for what you got. Over £5 for essentially a small bacon cob - c'mon! The 'view' from the benches was over a small area of unattractive scrub over a green crop field. No flowers in sight to make it feel special or attractive. It all smacked of 'leveraging my name' to sell you something. Sadly, we can't recomend it at all. If you want to buy something (and we will) go online and don't bother with a visit.

For us, Diddly Squat is an hour and a quarter away from home, so for a trip out, it wasn’t all too far. We visited the lavender fields a couple of weeks ago and hoped to visit the farm whilst we were already out in the Cotswolds but the shop is only open Thursday to Sunday, and we were out on a Tuesday.
As it was the first day of their week, we were expecting to be queuing down the road but were surprised to be able to pull straight into the car park. There were Marshall’s around but the general flow of people coming and going meant that there was always some parking.
I’ll join the other reviewers here by saying that this place is popular because of Jeremy and the TV show, so I hope the nearby businesses also reap some benefit from this.
We parked up and walked up to where the queues were. There was a sign saying the queue for the pop up shop was 45 minutes and for the main shop 2 hours. I greatly underestimated the main shop queue because it “didn’t look all that long”. So that’s where we joined. Sadly it started raining. We didn’t have coats or a brolly (keep one in your car if you can!) so we just braved it. I did pop to the bar around the back to get some food and hot drinks to take the edge off. They served three different baps, all locally sourced, for £4.95(v)/£5.50. Perhaps a tad pricey but very nice. There were portaloos available and never really a wait for them.
In the end we queued for 2 hours and 40 minutes to get into the main shop. We got rained on quite a bit and the bar shut before we got to the shop so we missed out on a much needed round of hot drinks.
Whilst we were in the queue, word got out that they’d sold out of Cow Juice. Understandable. But once we’d got to the shop itself, there was very little left. No bread and very little ice cream, cheeses and meats. So we picked up a pack of burgers, some jelly beans, a gingerbread cookie, picalilly, a tub of ice cream and some Bee Juice for the total of £40. I have no idea how much most of it cost as there were no prices.
We do want to go back but when the weather is drier and either when the popularity has worn off or they’ve expanded the shop.
One more thing to note - we joined the queue for the main shop at 1.40pm. The shop closes at 4.30pm. They closed the queue for the main shop by 2pm.

Ok, so if you watched the show & you’re in the area, you have to go just so you can say you’ve been. Don’t drive forever and make a special trip, just pass through if you are close unless you like spending fuel money to stand in a field all day. Be prepared for a LONG queue (2.5 hours is the norm) to enter the tiny shop as seen on TV. The fun is just being there, with like minded people (fans of Jeremy or farms) and the slim chance of Jezza, his lovely wife Lisa or the adorable Kaleb trapping up. It’s a good laugh whilst you’re waiting, if it’s sunny you’ll get a mint tan, & there are hot drinks, food, toilets and a bar! So if you get bored waiting you can get bladdered or caffeined up in the never ending queue with a bacon butty and a coffee to sober up after your beers, as it takes that long. You can also read the laminates stuck to the back of the beer barn written with Jeremy’s typically dry sarcasm to keep you entertained whilst eating said butty & supping one’s beverage. The queue itself & the atmosphere is a day out in itself. Jeremy’s vehicle from The Grand Tour is there if you fancy a photo op and the kids can climb all over it & by the time you’ve done all that, the shop has a few empty shelves and no bollock candles left but still some overpriced sausages, bacon and cheese which I can confirm are actually fairly decent. And I kept the packaging for proof and bragging rights. You’ve just got to go really just to tick it off your list and so you can say you’ve eaten Jeremy Clarksons sausage without smelling his bollo**s:)

It’s tiny and there’s an hour que usually however you can get most of the merchandise items from the pop up stand with a 5 minute que. Sky high prices but if you like Jeremy and his car or farm programs you’ll visit and pay the prices for novelty value if nothing else. At least the quality of the products seem good.

A tad disappointed. Firstly, if it's wet take your wellies as the car park will be a mud bath . Secondly, the shop is small and the queues are long, not helped by the current covid restrictions which is adding to the waiting time. Thirdly, let's just say don't expect to find any bargains here. The shop seriously expensive. On the plus side, we had a bacon roll and a very nice cup of tea in the barn behind the shop. It wasn't so seriously over price and was very tasty. Also the staff all seemed very friendly. I guess the problem is that people will still visit come what may and I think the shop is cashing in on that fact. To sum up, come on Jeremy Clarkson, you could do a whole lot better here!

Hi! 👋 We are going to be in the Cotswold area mid September when the kids are back at school, how busy would the Farm Shop be at this time of year? Thank you in advance for any help! 🐑

If visiting just for a drink are the queues a bit more tolerable for the bar than the shop?
Written 8 June 2024
We went in the middle of the summer holidays and the queues for everything were quite large - except the ‘just drinks’ one! 2 people in front of us, got a lovely cider, sat at a table and enjoyed it! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

We didn’t spot anything in the Farm Shop or the Food Caravan that qualified or stated as GF.
Given Mr Clarkson’s well publicised views on food I would have been surprised if there was.
Might be worth looking on the Diddly Squat website.
I notice you are based in Grantham. A word to the wise…don’t make a special trip. It’s a long way and you’ll be disappointed. Just pop-in to have a look if you’re in the area. It’s just a small farm shop with a hot food van behind it & some portaloo’s in the corner of the unmade car park. A curiosity piece rather than a destination venue. Not Mr Clarkson’s fault. The Local Authorities obviously hate him.
