Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We walked along to the lock and also in the other other direction to the pub, The Flowerpot. Always fascinating for a variety of birds (gulls, ducks, swans, geese, cormorants to name but a few) plus the different boats and houses along the river.

Great to wander along the bank of the Thames seeing a huge number of boats, lovely scenery and some amazing houses!

A lovely walk by the picturesque river. Great in a sunny day. The pop up cafe at Hambleton lock was a bonus too.

The whole path is not paved and is not fit for child buggy. There are patches where you can not not get muddy.

Great place for an easy walk to get away from the crowds and see a bit of the countryside and maybe some wildlife at any time of the year.

Well worth doing a circular walk out to Remenham (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Vicar of Dibley fame, but pretty in its own right), Aston and the Flower Pot Inn, to Hambleden Lock and Weir, then back via the Thames Path passing Temple Island.

The whole section from Henley to Marlow is lovely, the path is by the river all the way except for a short stretch near Aston. Nice to watch the boats navigating the lock at Hambleden. Definitely best in summer though. The path isn't surfaced for all of the route and it can be muddy in places.

We went just before the Regatta so there was lots of activity, Sadly it was raining when we were there but you still get great views of the river and the rowers
