Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Children (12 and 14 years old) had fun, although they did miss the inflatable pillow that's been there in previous years.
However, my word, Oxford Wet 'n Wild milk you for every penny they can. Wet suit hire is extra, padlocks for locker use is £5 (bring your own), picnics are forbidden meaning you are forced to purchase from their catering van if anyone wants to eat or drink, you even have to pay extra per person if anyone wants to go for a walk or run around the lake! It doesn't leave you feeling like you want to return.

We were part of a large group (39 people) but due to unforeseen circumstances 4 of us couldn’t attend. I rang to ask if we could move just the 4 of us to a different time and day but was told no. That their policy stated you have to give 48 hours notice. I think this is very unfair, we could not have foreseen us not being able to attend.
I understand not getting a refund but I just wanted to move our session so my kids didn’t miss out.
I now have 2 very unset child due to not fault of my own.

I completely messed up and arrived with a group of 10 eleven year olds only to find out I had actually booked an earlier session. This could have been the worst birthday party ever, serious parenting fail. Panic ensued.
The staff handled this situation very calmly and quickly saved the day by deploying an extra lifeguard so we could still go on the water park. They were all so understanding.
The waterpark itself is great fun. All very professionally run.

We had the best time at the inflatable park! Lake was fantastically clear and relatively warm!
I went with 4 kids, some of whom struggled to get back on the swim platforms especially as they got more tired. However it was easy to haul them up with their life jackets!
So much fun, will definately go and do it again!

I live locally and this is the place the kids want to go back to time and time again. The aquapark is great fun, there are paddleboards and kayaks for hire and a nice cafe/restaurant too. When the sun is shining it has a lovely relaxed holiday vibe. Recommended, but booking ahead is pretty much essential

Fun, fun but the changing rooms were very awkward. Was just a shipping crate for girls and another for boys with an open door. Door doesn’t close because there are no lights inside. Very awkward seeing as a lot of girls were trying to change in there. Th bathrooms even had signs telling you not to change there. On the other hand, the actual experience was really fun (slightly slimy) but very enjoyable!

My heart sunk when I saw the place was run by teenagers. Very unorganised, only one person on the check in desk. Had to tell them our names many times as they seemed to lack concentration. The aqua park seemed a bit more organised although my daughter and two others caught sickness bugs after the event as they swallowed water. Their fault as lots of bird poo about. Lots of people took picnics. The queue to the cafe was too long but I took my own bottle of water. And ice cream was £3.25 for one scoop.

We had a really great day here, we did, once we got onto the lake, we had been told to arrive 45 mins before the scheduled 12 o clock start on the inflatable, we arrived in plenty of time, signed in, completed all the safety forms etc, and joined the massive q for life vests, we stood here so long our session had started before we were even close to the front, with only 2 ladies sorting each person out it wasn’t enough! And a bit u fair as we had missed out on time on the lake because of this, they really should think about making sure everyone has what they need and are ready to go before starting a session, we weren’t the only people left and was lots even behind us who weren’t happy, maybe more staff to do life vests or just a quicker check in, which took way longer than necessary and so held everyone up. And don’t start until everyone is ready considering we were stood around waiting for staff!

Decided to go here with the family to get wet and wild, however I was not expecting the carp in the lake below me to mistake my manhood for a nice snack. Anyway 10/10

I will be honest - I was not looking forward to this one bit. The grey clouds didn’t help and as we slipped into the icy dark water - I wondered what I had let myself in for.
A brilliant time was what! After 5 mins of acclimatisation to the movement of the inflatable surface - I was off! Transported back to childhood we climbed, jumped, slid and swam around a variety of challenges. Excellent fun.
The lifeguards keep things feeling safe (although there is always actual of injury - you need to be fairly fit to get the most out of it) but are not over bearing. Friendly staff helped to make the experience a good one.
Changing facilities are available but be aware that it is a converted container - so be prepared to get up close and personal with your fellow WetnWilders if it is busy. It also means no lockers - so you will need to put valuables in the car. There is a place to leave your keys safely whilst enjoying the water.
There is a cafe on site to warm afterwards with a burger and coffee/hot chocolate. I expect I will come again - next time with the kids! And when it’s warm!!
