Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Foremost amongst the attractions is Balliol College. But that is only the beginning.

Opposite its famous façade is the historic Martyr’s Cross where the Protestant Bishops were burnt at the stake for not converting to Catholicism under Queen Mary I.

Blackwell’s Bookshop is justifiably famous for the breadth and depth of the volumes on all subjects it offers. On the rooftop is the great figurative sculpture Another Time II (or XI) by the inimitable Antony Gormley.

Architectural grandeur is here with the Sheldonian Theatre, Clarendon Building and Bodleian Library.

We were enjoying our second visit to Oxford. This time we were there for a couple of days rather than a few hours.
While staying in the town, we enjoyed several long walks around the town centre. As a result, we visited Broad Street on several occasions. Whilst there, we were able to view the refined and wonderful architecture of Balliol, Trinity and Exeter Colleges. Each of these three university colleges are “must-see” locations for any tourist visiting Oxford. Also situated in the street are the impressive Museum of the History of Science and the wonderful and unique Sheldonian Theatre.
If shopping is your thing, then you are well catered for in Broad Street as well, with a small department store and a number of specialty shops. These include gifts shops, book shops, souvenir stores and even a shop specialising in Harry Potter merchandise.
We enjoyed our visits to the interesting Broad Street and recommend it as a street to visit for any tourist spending time in Oxford!
